Growing up in the 2000s as a teen was just amazing, the music we had and overall the culture. Played this in the way to freshman of high school, MTV then was iconic, the movies then, our outfits and flip phones - 2000s youth culture was something else, kids now missed it. Been there. Trick is to not care about the future, and help others using your intelligence. If you are good at something, teach others that struggle with it. I do it with math, feels very nice to be able to explain concepts to people that struggle. If you truly are as intelligent as people think, the world doesn't need intelligence, but people who aren't gifted do. Perhaps work as a teacher, or a tutor. I understand what you feel entirely. They didn't create it. They just made the song about it. There was a project called Post Secret. It was started by a guy named Frank Warren. He got people from all over the world to mail in post cards with their dirtiest secrets on them. He did a series of traveling museum exhibits and a book out of it. It's an online band but we've been making a lot of progress, the album is pretty much completely written, we're mainly just waiting on our drummer to get his pieces recorded so we can add our parts lol I've played in online bands before and typically they just don't work because you end up with a bunch of lazy people that don't put any effort into it, most people expect everyone to write the music for them and they can just come in and play a few chords and claim they're in a band. But with this band that I've been playing in it's actually working out really well, we've made a lot of progress, We have one song completely recorded, I just have to rerecord a few parts where my timing was off and we're pretty much finished with the first song. Abi Zoey I'm 14 and I've recently been diagnosed with anxiety. General and social. I get panic attacks quite often and I get highly embarrassed whenever I'm around people, for no reason. Yesterday, I went up to my maths teacher so he could sign my book, and immediately got self conscious as I could feel the eyes of the whole class on me. My heart was beating a mile a minute and my palms were slick with sweat. I went home later that day, as I was ill, but had a panic attack in the medical room. DLS: I absolutely adore being alone. Once I finish up college, get a steady, full-time job, and get my own place, I'll be in paradise. I feel like I can go months without speaking to people or having any humans interactions (besides getting through a job) and pay no mind to it. I like the people that I'm close with, but it bothers me with having to talk to people. Most times, I try to come off as an asshole with my jokes so I can't hope they'll keep their distance. Idk why more people don’t share. I’m a 24 year old functional alcoholic and have been for years. I hold a job, I have a car in my name but I can’t stop drinking. Nobody irl knows aside from close friends and my parents. I’ve tried to stop but I’m a piece of shit when I’m sober, I can’t stand to be around myself. I’m a horrible person when I’m sober so I started drinking again. I dropped out of high school I have no goals other than to hopefully see 40 but I don’t plan for it. ❤

Nobody is gonna read it anyways. If anyone does I hope yall learn from me. Do not feel sorry, everyone says they appreciate my honesty and they want me to stop. I do not care. I’m not going to stop. I do not want to stop, I’m happier drinking than I am not drinking to put it black and white. If it takes me out I welcome it. The best thing I’ve done recently is stop driving drunk. It still happens but instead of every single day it happens once every 3 months if that, up the road to get more beer. I used to drive 14 shots deep and on Xanax so I feel like 10 beers over 8 hours is a fat change hell I will sit at home with no beer for hours and sober up to go 5 minutes up the road if I got no choice but to drive. I do not play anymore but I start the day with a beer

In 1987 my mom caught me smoking in my bedroom so she grounded me. I was supposed to go to a party with my cousin/best friend that night but was stuck at home. I was 15, my cousin was 16. She came to my bedroom window that night to say hello and drop me off cigarettes since my mom took mine. That was the last time I saw her. She asked an older guy for a ride home when she ended up at the bowling alley with her friends. She was only about 2 miles from home. He had been drinking, was high and had coke on him. He sped down the street going 95mph, swerved in the opposite lane, swerved back, struck a tree and my cousin went flying out the window/door across all 4 lames of road and landed in the ditch. She died on the way to the hospital. Right when I was telling my dad i was smoking the phone rang and it was my aunt telling me mom Carla was dead. I remember screaming, crying and went in my bedroom. I was devastated. My mom left to go to the hospital and I cried in my room all night. I went through a major depression. Stopped caring about school. Went from straight As to not passing grades. I was an honor student before this happened. It took me about a year to start caring about my life again. This guy got 3 months in jail for killing her. Three FN months. I saw him at the mall right after he got out of jail with a 6pk of Heineken in his hands. I went up to him and told him who I was and he actually told me he didn't care she died. I called the police cause he wasn't supposed to be drinking. He was an ahole. A drunk ahole. He drove drunk into a retention pond about 10 years later and drowned. Karma sure got that MFer. Image driving drunk and killing someone. Imagine killing a child. Unfortunately I've known many people who have died from drunk drivers. Alcohol destroyed my marriage of 25 years. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of my cousin and how I could have been in that car with her. My mom had already lost 2 sons before me so if I would have died that would have literally probably killed her. My aunt suffered so much from losing her daughter. All because of alcohol and driving stupid. Think about other people next time you get in a vehicle and drive drunk. If you want to kill yourself that's up to you but to take a chance and possibly kill other people is NOT cool. Seeing your loved one dead on a hospital gurney is something the family will suffer with for the rest of their lives.
