I really like your bass clips. You’re the bass player they want on stage cause you make it look like an event. The frame setting on the camera makes the strings show a big wobble.

Great description on this lovely Cort bass guitar. One worth buying that’s for sure.

Babicz bridges are underrated. They also have no hard edges and feel great to palm mute on.

I like your videos! One information that i think should be mentioned is string spacing. For example, i am comftiable only with 16mm, and i am sure that there are more people too. That inforamtion is always leftout from reviews and even manuals, so for some basses i can not even find that information on forum deep into the internet .😅 Just a sugestion. Keep up good work!

Man finally somebody speaking in my language! This is exactly my issue! I’m sure this one is 19mm tho but yeah. That information is absurdly omitted everywhere.

@victorstewart3952 жыл бұрын
@@enzograz6660 yeah and most Ibanez too. But those are rare and most people don’t like it. So that’s why most basses are 19mm

@Patrick Hunter, since these are single coil pickups, did you have a hum problem when soloing one or the other?

I've been thinking about purchasing one for some time now, but maaan, I'm just not a fan of the two finish options. Really wish Cort offered a more grounded/classy finish option for the GB-Modern too. Also, I don't get why they're so obsessed with transparent pickguards :D I'd rather have something that contrasts the finish or no pickguard at all.
@ChrisDavis19752 жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s my only gripe with it. That clear pickguard has got to go. I think not having one at all or maybe a black one would be better. MusicMan puts a clear pickguard on one of their models that has the 2 humbuckers in it. I just didn’t understand that. 🤔
@xxxxxxDalexxxxxx2 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisDavis1975 Yeah, I also own a GB74JH by Cort and had to remove that pickguard almost instantly after buying it. I thought about getting a custom made one, but 100€ seems a bit steep for a piece of plastic :D
@johnsausage2 жыл бұрын
I think the clear pickguard is sweet but as for the finish I was hoping for some classic finish too.. because the specs are great!

Hey Patrick. I love the way U play bass, the sound and stuff U give us here,really 👍. Just one question. U are saying that in sponsored episodes nothing U say has the influence, so have u ever had negative opinion about the stuff that was sponsored by a company? Keep good work and happy New Year.

The pickups on this one compared to some other Cort options I heard and tested seem really muddy which is what I don't want in a bass like this? It's why Sire is still my favourite brand to use despite them being associated more with jazz/funk playing while I'm usually into rock. Those basses sound so clear and well defined making them so fun to drive and play harshly compared to pickups like this that just start sounding like muddy endlessness when distorting them.
@T-Cranmer2 жыл бұрын
I have to agree. I use a stock Sire for rock, and it’s perfect. I had an Ibanez with the same pickups as this Cort, I found them to be a lot darker than what I was expecting. I had to do more adjusting on my amp settings to coax out the sound I wanted. I’ve heard people make that Ibanez sound great but it wasn’t for me.
@joannalewis52798 ай бұрын
This didn't sound muddy at all. Nordstrand don't make muddy pickups and these are single coils. There's loads of top end and mid range in that demo
