The HT710 is perfect for a beginner and intermediate sewist for it’s simplicity! It’s portable for a class or to go to a friends place for a sewing get together. Or, keep in an area at home where you will likely use it more often for mending, hemming, quick sewing. Endless possibilities. Thank you so much for a great review.

Can you show how you load glide thread? My thread gets caught under spool. Do you use the 2nd spool holder or the first?

How would you compare this to the Janome HD3000? The price looks to be similar, but I guess if these were not computerized, they would be lower performers than the Janome?

On the HT740 the brochure says there's an optional wide table available. Is this true? I have a DX7, are those feet compatible with the HT740?

Well, he said that the 740 can use the feet from the DX series so I would think it would be interchangeable going from the HT to the DX
