Americans have been doing the RV and Van thing for a WHILE. The Britt's have only really just gotten into it and y'all have surpassed anything us Americans have ever come up with. Your bathrooms actually have some room for movement. The layouts are actually pretty decent and usable. The looks are WAY better... And from what I've seen. They're also priced way better... Y'all really Killin it.

I tend to favor a fixed bed layout because we sleep a third of each day. That aside, this conversion appears to be a beautiful alternative. Well done.

Have a look at the Auto Campers, especially its Day Van Modular Series. It can have four captain's seats (or a combination of various seat options) and the rear seats, as well as the furniture, can be removed or added depending on what you're using the 'van for that day. It is not 4x4 and it is not built on a Mercedes (it's a Ford base) but certainly worth a look. We have a feature on it in the Feb 2021 issue of Campervan magazine. That's one for RP to answer. Australia can be quite restrictive in terms of importing whole vehicle conversions, especially in terms of electrciity and gas systems. However, where there is a will...
