I have a retail store, and stock all kinds of gear, including Taichi. This is one of my favorite winter jackets of all times. Customers say they can wear it into low 30 degree cold. Toasty warm with the liner, and they love that the liner doubles as a casual jacket they can use all the time. Gotta love those fleece pockets, too. Winner winter riding jacket! That's a parka? Scooter boys used to wear parkas in England. They had non-removable hoods. I had a parka as a lad but had the good taste to ride a motorbike: a Honda CD175.

I have not seen the 729 and was unable to find it on the US Taichi site so I am unable to give any comparison. - Van
