LOL... I just happen to have a dyno in my garage. Wow, that's impressive. This bike hits every promise that the Metacycle made and at cost promised by Sondors. It's truly a "highway capable" bike. The top speed, acceleration, braking, etc., all blow away what Storm promised. Also, they did their job ensuring they were legal to sell in all states they sold to and worked through the registration issues. This is 180 degrees opposite how Sondors handled his customers. Further, Ryvid has proven itself to be a company with the highest level of integrity and I have had three service visits from Matt since I owned the bike and I am about as far away from socal as you can get. I really hope that Ryvid continues where they are going. It is very rare to encounter such an honest company. I knew that Dong and crew had threaded the needle as perfectly as you can get with respect to engineering battery capacity, motor sizing, weight of motorcycle and the gearing. But, with this new controller, they have done something out of the ordinary in terms of perfect engineering and crafting an electric motorcycle that can be as perfectly done as possible given the immense limitations of battery technology, cost and doing the assembly in California.

@@Area13ebikes my house power is converted from solar input to 48-volt battery storage. I have no interest in converting this to A/C just to convert it to 72 volts D/C. The connections to the BMS individual Cells will be spring loaded and will disconnect by hand or by a plastic piece that hits the bottom of the battery box or the top of the bottom battery. The cell output will exceed the potential draw of the controller to eliminate the need for the BMS to be active during discharge. If a cell fails, I might rethink the idea.

The best thing this has is also the worst thing, super fast acceleration, a motorcycle rider's greatest risk.
