A Isuzu Rodeo with 4 MA duel voice coil subs in a home made box that i put together then noticed i had to take it apart just to get it in the back to sit on top of the wheel wells. From 1998 to 2001 I had the same setup beating down the streets in Tampa at 149.8 db 🔊 ! Now all my cash goes into 2 kids and an evil azz baby momma 🎱 who allowed me to put 2 kicker 10's 🔇 in my truck. I can't afford nice subs or even amps like that anymore. Man I hate being old AF!

I need ideas for my single cab chevy Silverado. I dont want my seats all the way forward . I just installed custom door speakers by taking out the stock 6.5s and installing some 6x9s at 300 watts a peice. I want to put new 6.5s in the rear pillar speakers but they are only 4s now so I made custom boxes for the 6.5s. Still trying to get the panels off to access the wires though. Too many clips.Amazing what a dewalt multitool, some cutting blades and a little day dreaming can accomplish

I got a bad ass Zv5 12" that was custom built at Direct... And it's stupid loud like seriously loud. It outperformed my brothers Nsv4 12" .. so I dunno if I'll upgrade just yet.. if one of these can defeat my Zv5 that's been beefed up a bit than I might just sell it n upgrade.. but if it can't than I'm good.. lol mine does a solid 147 @34hz in my trunk. So if I can find someone that has a Zv6 12" and we can swap subs out for a moment to try it than I'll give it a run n if it does better n sounds better I'll do it..

I was thinking about 2 nsv5 18s in my Lincoln mks on a sfb8k or a bass8k but the zv6 has the same rms as the nightshades and cheaper. Hell they're $880 each but idk I feel like I would regret not getting the nightshades lol maybe a part of me just wants the top of the line up.

I picked up a JP23 a few months back and been dragging my feet on hooking it up due to me blowing every single sub I put in my truck and all I have in my truck now is a 1600 watt amp running at 2 ohm. I'm planning to order A 15"zv6 to go with the JP23. My question is, is the JP23 gonna be enough or would I have to pair up a couple JP23's? And what ohm sub should I get to maximize the output of the amps without running them too hot. I plan on doing just 1 sub.

Wow I'm just read your comment and I'm looking for a dam good affordable amp that handles .50 strapped .25 an amp. Did you say this amp on Subwoofers can handle it??? I know I have my 2 old Hifonics Brutus BRX 2000.1D amps were wired to half ohms strapped!! .25per amp not sure how they survived but they did. I'm looking at 2 JP 23s but I was going to wire them 2ohms strapped 1 ohms per amp but really wanted it wired identical to my setup I used to have. I'm sure if old Hifonics amps handled .25 on Subwoofers of course after box rise it probably be at .8 or 1 ohms I'm sure the JP will handle it💪💪😀

@@RyanBassForLife Although it is NOT recommended, and it is at your own risk. I did do extensive testing on my JP23's and they survived .25 ohm's I am working on a project of my own making and am pushing things to a bit of an extreme. As long as you gain match don't push clipping and have the electrical, you can "burp" them at this load. They will do plenty fine at the suggested 2 ohm load strapped I promise.
