With these guys doing their own things for years, makes me wonder how it took so long for this confluence to happen because there's great magic here. Met 'em before the show in Santa Fe in March days before the world as we knew it stopped. Was probably the last show they did, don't know if they made it to the next one in Phoenix or not. Anyway I pleaded to Duane, Devon, and Barry to PLEASE keep making albums.

At 3:08 when the harmonized dual guitars started I teared up and the hair on the back of my neck stiffened just like your Fathers made happen many moons ago in my younger years. Derek plays guitar. He was playing slide guitar on stage with the Allman Brothers Band at 13 and joined the band as a full fledged member at 20. He also has the Derek Trucks Band and a band with his wife called the Tedeschi Trucks Band. He's pretty awesome.

Johnny Stachela is a really good slide player..... Butch Trucks was Derek Trucks uncle, as Duane Trucks is Butch son....
