In any other game I'd be calling foul on that dirty Alt+F4 trick after missing the actual kill on the person...but this is SR and one way or another justice is meted out for such crimes. Or minor offenses. Or because it'd be funny. Or because it's Tuesday. You know, good reasons.

The Jester is just too powerful. It's the only role that holds so much power both while alive and death. Mediums and Saints also interact with death, but the ability to play in a better condition while dead is just a cheat. Sure, a vigilante can counter the jester, but it being the only way to reliably counter a powerful role means that role lists with the possibility of having a jester but no vigilante mean that it would go unhindered. And no, the prosecutor is just a downgraded version of the vigilante since it gets screwed by a jester, while a cooldown penalty from a Saint doesn't really matter since the Jester already killed at least 2 people by the time it gets voted out.
