Greetings from San Diego area USA. The Chevrolet Nova was available with a 4 cylinder until 1970… as well as V8 and six. My grandmother had 1954 Cadillac Series 62 similar to the one shown.

That Crosley looks like it might have come from the defunct Catskill Game Farm that was in New York state. I remember riding in it when I was a kid.

the MET is one of my fav car museums ever ,top of my bucket list . the crosley fire truck is a funny one they built a lot of them ,with 99.9% of them being used for kiddy rides at amusement park's but they did build a lot of real fire equipment for use in side factorys and such they could get places where larger scale trucks could not.great job

An interesting collection of cars and trucks there. I seem to remember Wayne Corinie having or seeing a Stats in one of his shows so some obviously made it to the USA. There used to be an Italia in the Beaulieu Motor Museum, it may still be there as they do 'rotate' their collection. The blue VW near the end looks very much like a 'Thing' but I may be wrong on that one. Some really well preserved trucks to ogle over too. One you referred to seemed to have two trailers hooked up to the rear so almost a road train though my Australian cousins will probably disagree with me, sorry fellas! Thanks to Ton and to you Rick for putting this excellent collection together and yes there were some I hadn't heard of amongst them. 👍👍

The registration plate on that Aston Martin V8 is 100 away from my MGB GT. Modest difference in value as well.

What a fantastic array of an amazing collection of vehicles we don't see on British shores . Ironically l was at my local Tesco one stop yesterday and an identical Alfa Romeo Montreal was filling up 2 pumps up from me !

Another slight disagreement from across the pond, the Chrysler Newport would have to be a 1961 not a 1962 if only due to the tailfins which were removed for the 1962 season. I like the video especially the unusual vehicles such as the Steyr and the EMW as well as the large commercial vehicles. I must commend you on the quality of your presentations and apologize for the lateness of the viewing if only because I lost access to KZbin for a period and am now desperately trying to play catch up on a number of channels which I have dumped a few of if only because of "anti"research or research so bad it boggles the mind. Fortunately yours seems to have most of its facts in order.

Thanks, most of the info on the cars featured in this one came from the museum's own site iirc

@@oldclassiccarUK That concept is understood, I've gotten used to worse errors in my own country from people who should know better, myself included on a bad day considering the library I once had disappeared and I'm having to work pretty much with memory alone although it tends to usually better than some of the sources I've run across. Enjoy your videos 😁
