You should get together with Corey from Live Each Day and change the ADHD platform. You both feel the positive and negative aspects. I think he might be into it, he made a video showing his brain on each personality he feels and it is hysterical and shows how crazy it can be in the brain when you have this stigma based brain alteration. It is so refreshing that people are so much more accepting of other people right now and it is because of people, dare I say hero's, like you!! Thank you!!

Kim and Penn, you are more than just “people who make videos.” Your videos were and still are a beacon of positivity during the crazy times that we are in. Don’t EVER use “just” to describe how amazing you are. Also, Penn, I have ADHD as well. And my 18 yr old son was diagnosed at 17 during the pandemic. I love that you, too, think it is both a superpower and a “curse” simultaneously. I teach math to high school kids that “don’t get math.” The first thing I tell students is that “I have ADHD use it as a superpower.”

I just watched the "A Good Wife" clip, and y'all, you may be the "old" couple, but this is the kind of stuff that makes you golden. Experience in marriage is what leads you to pre-plan how to talk kindly to each other. To pray for what you know will be difficult for your spouse. Handling the emotions in a way that is healthy for your marriage is the advantage of the experienced, and y'all clearly have that!

You guys do not give yourself enough credit! I've been one of the people who have said you guys needed to win a humanitarian award for keeping the hopes of Americans alive through comedy relief and realism for 2020 COVID pandemic! I looked forward to your videos because it was normal people who had an opportunity to let the spirits of other people who are all going through the same thing- same time- but had no platform to share with. So just because you haven't been on Oprah, or Ellen, or any other type of talk show doesn't mean that what you did or do is not important to other people. And especially with Penn talking about ADHD - and Penn, I felt your pain so much as someone who also has ADHD. One of our biggest fears and affirmations that we enforce on ourselves with ADHD, is how much we let other people down because of our ability/disability. And I appreciated both the time and attention that the show spent acknowledging that - both the good and the bad, and Kim your amazing support being shown because it takes very special people to help us through our lives. So please don't underestimate how much you influence People! ETA: yes I wondered when this was taped because I saw this hugging, and kissing, and talking to strangers.. no masks! So I knew this was pre-covid in some way or post covid... Post Delta ...pre-omicron?!? LOL! So I'm looking forward to you next week's understanding of how this went down. Great job guys! Waiting for Penn to break out in song (or put on a wig😂). Pulling for you!

You guys are so right about darts in England. I was a teen when I accidentally found my dad’s dart competition trophies. We live in America and my dad is so humble and sweet. I realized he was just a cool British guy and loves the best music, played and coached on football teams in England, eyes still glue to a match when they come on, etc. You guys are so cool!

I would totally have over thought a black and white envelope. Even one that said Amazing Race. Sitting at home I thought you were right and everyone else had missed something. I’m 55 with ADHD diagnosed last year! Also depression and severe anxiety and several auto immune disorders. I’m rooting for you and Kim! 😀

It's so good for those of us with ADHD, anxiety, etc to see representation to help us feel more normal in every day life. Too often my regular tasks feel as overwhelming as an episode of TAR, which I am only watching because of Kim & Penn's participation.

Haven't watched the show in years but am enjoying watching you two on it. Thanks for this recap, too!

Absolutely lost it during the mail rail challenge, but loved how much you guys just moved on and didn't make a big deal about it. Really looking forward to watching the rest of the season and we're rooting for you!!

Thank you so much for these Vlogs. I have waited since season 1 to hear the perspective of racers on the show and some of the off camera stuff that happens. You guys are amazing!

I love the recap and behind the scenes details. And for being so true to you. My son has ADHD and I try to help him understand the positivities and negatives and this was a great example. You made it through band helped each other! All tasks except for the art one looked a bit easier than normal. I am sure it didn’t feel that way! I was wondering if they had to make some changes because COVID was coming. I can only imagine how hard it is watching yourselves at highs and lows. Don’t be hard on yourselves. At the end of the day, you are surrounded by love. PS, I would totally be into a KZbin series about the production process.

My whole family watched together and we were rooting for you the whole time! My dad has ADHD and I have anxiety and it was like seeing what we would be like if we ran the race together. We were laughing and cheering with you the whole way, can't wait to see more of you guys

This is amazing! I've never watched the Amazing Race before, but I started seeing your videos come up on Facebook during the pandemic and since you started the Amazing Race right before the pandemic, I think it's only fitting that I cheer you on!!! Good Luck!!!

You guys are awesome. Only reason I watched the amazing race- and now I'm hooked and binging all the seasons. Your teamwork and strength as a couple really showed. Also I have ADHD (artist) and I embrace the superpower aspects too and I appreciate Penn's championing of ADHDness.

Listening to part of the pod cast. I work as a mental health counselor in Kansas City and waiting on a client. You mentioned that you guys didn't feel like you could compete with these heroes and people that have done significant things. Guys. Just want to encourage you that during the quarantine last year, you gave a lot of people hope with your witty songs. You're living your dream and keep doing what you enjoy. It matters. You kept fun and happiness alive when those things seemed in short supply. Keep up the great work.

I didn't notice the names of the episodes until after watching the show. I can't believe Penn, to his embarrassment I'm sure, named the 2nd episode with his quote! What an honor!!

New to watching TAR, but expecially with the driving in Glasgow I realized, hey, they aren't teams of 2, but 3! There is always a camera person with them! That person has to always ride in the car with them, run with them, etc. etc. They even have to trust the person driving the car will drive well, and that the camera won't distract! So do the two we see get to know their camera person? Is the rule that you aren't to interact with the camera person? Does the camera person ever hold them up or complicated things? Just something I was wondering!

You are BOTH amazing and contribute so much joy into the world that needs it so much and if I had one bad thing to say it would be that I often think you do not give yourselves enough credit for how wonderful you actually are. Yes Im sure you have faults we all do but you are very critical of yourselves sometimes. Just sayin :) Much Love from Upstate NY

I love you guys so much!! Watching because of you, and seriously impressed that you’re demonstrating your book…in extremely stressful situations, without basic needs met. As much as you want to win, you are putting your relationship first. It’s a powerful thing to witness. ❤️

I loved watching you guys work together. It was actually exciting and a lot of fun to watch. I cried watching that extra "A good wife" that shows more of you guys after the mail situation. I loved seeing how supportive Kim was through that. You guys were an awesome example of love and marriage and most of all kindness. Love you both!

40:15 I was thinking the same thing! I’ve watched the show for years and there’s never been an easier roadblock. I think that was the trick. You guys did so well though!

Have not seen a whole season of Amazing Race, but looking forward to this and such fun watching you both embrace the challenge. Knowing you locally from posts, it feels more authentic and real. You as a couple have good energy, and it seems like a real great group of people. Was a bit anxious for Penn taking time about the mail find, and bummer on your cake critique ! ( there were other drippy cakes )Was surprised on how many did not know EU countries, always good learning moments. Looking forward to next week.

For the little description for your team, it should have been “Iron Man 3 co-stars”. 😂 I’m shocked to see you were both in that film, and I’m going to have to rewatch it now!

Thank you for posting this here too, I normally just listen to your podcast but like the visuals to go with the episode. We streamed both episodes tonight then immediately watched this & it made it so much more fun to get your reactions, break down and BTS info right away. WTG Kim & Penn, proud of how you raced the first 2 legs, we are cheering for you from Halifax, NS!
