...well... the line wasn't clear, but, yes, the premise is that nobody can get a good picture of Spider-man. Peter Parker is the only one who gets close-ups, focused or frame shots. In some of the pictures, its obvious that Spider-man is posing and knows his picture is being taken, because he of course is taking pictures of himself and making the pictures as good as possible to get top dollar. If a masked vigilante only let's one person get good, personal, upclose pictures of them, then it would be assumed that there is trust. The line was poorly written and wasn't cinematically made clear, but that is pretty much how it is in the comics, is it not? Peter claims he is good friends with Spider-man, simply because he is the only one who gets good photos of him.

@Asher Copaken plus the photos were far away enough that anyone could've taken them. In the original Spiderman trilogy, it looked very obvious the only someone like peter could've taken those photos, here they didn't do a good job of that

Lunk Spiderman never said he would "come to his birthday party." that didn't happen. the two of them meet on the street once, and Spiderman calls him his "eyes and ears in the city." after that Electro talks to himself and pretends that Spiderman came to see him on his birthday. Electro turned on Spiderman, because he thought Spiderman betrayed him when the police fired at him during the scene in Time's Square.

@plinkertonman

@@chrisbreton1181 not really IMO. 1)There are several non hip-hop producers that are better than Preemo and RZA, such as (on the top of my head) Albini, Berry Gordy, Quincy Jones, Arca, Butch Vig, and Rick Rubin. 2)Preemo and RZA sample so they should be ranked lower than other electronic/instrument based producers. Not that it is a sin or anything, its just that the quality of sample-based music is mostly dependent on the taste or "ear" of the creator, not skill (especially now). Both Preemo's and RZA's beats worsened drastically when they stopped sampling in the 00's. 3)Preemo and RZA aren't even the best at sampling. The Bomb Squad, DJ Paul/Juicy J, Zach Hill, Dalek, Dr. Dre, Questlove, early Kanye, and Timbaland (when he samples he's third best at it, although he is the 2nd best hip-hop/R&B producer of all time) are people I'd rank higher in terms of sampling skill and longevity.

If TASM2 had put the Harry Osborne and Rhino villain plot lines on the backburner for another film and had developed Electro better, Electro would have worked. He could have worked with Peter's father in the past and been obsessed with continuing Peter's fathers work, but using it to modify eels into sources of organic electric power. Let the movie spend a few scenes showing his character's meaningless, nondescript existence and obsession with becoming a famous hero like Spidey. Set design a room full of articles on Spidey. Then have Electro gain his powers and wreak havoc after Spidey helps capture him.

Very late but a perfect example of "quietness is key for an intense scene" in a superhero flick is in Spider-Man Homecoming. When it's revealed who Liz's Dad is music cuts, and it's quiet the remainder of the scene. Even the car ride to the dance was quiet because it is still intense. Two different sequences done perfectly

A thing that really annoyed me was Andrew Garfield's portrayal of Peter. Its his weird movements of his head and facial expressions and his constant stammering. Its like hes trying too hard and makes me think its just fake cause no one does that in real life. I think this was especially so in Amazing Spider-Man when he tells Gwen his identity, the moment before that he does all those weird things and its just cringey to watch.

Emma J. Quinn Before I say anything, I give homecoming a 9.7 and ASM2 a 9.8... both amazing... anyways, ASM2 prob had the only good romance in ANY spiderman movie, and it had the best suit... no offense but the homecoming suit is absolutely retarded looking and it's too op... with all those gadgets, it legit felt like iron man 4. ASM2 was the closest to the comics from the 3 that I read, and Garfield was amazing... people think hes the best spiderman, and Tobey is the best Peter parker, but I think they are all good... but prefer Garfield cause he shows the most intelligence with his science stuff and innovations... I liked the part when spidey loses his suit from stark in homecoming, cause that creates challenge, that suit is legit op and it ruins my experience... ASM2 felt like a true spiderman movie, but it's still an awful movie because of the rhino and goblin, but everything else was beautifully made.... 9.8... asm2 made me mad, and happy, idk... the gwen and harry scenes (besides his goblin parts) just made the movie sooooo good...

Just rewatched the Sam Raimi spiderman movies and although they are somewhat corny they are still charming and overall good movies. I realized that many later superhero movies especially in the DC and these ones are plagued by two things: -Lack of a filmmaker with a vision -Studio interference The reason Tarantino is good is that he has great talent, but also that he only makes exactly whatever he wants to make with complete freedom which makes it interesting.

Black people can't compose real music. Their repertoire can't expand beyond Jazz, Rap and Hip-Hop.

***** this is the most perfectly false statement I've ever seen. "Real music" isn't a thing. Black people also created funk, soul, blues and R & B. (edit: AND rock and roll. Forgot about that one) Top Psychedelic artist? Some would say Jimi Hendrix. Top pop aritst? Michael Jackson.
