I think the shf body proportions look more like andrew however the mafex masked headsculpt is better than the shf. Also the mafex wont have the paint scraping off due to the sharp cuts in the joints - that is an issue with the shf

Yea I remember seeing a few people think that proportionally, the mafex was better which made no sense at all to me, he looks more animated or styalized, the masked headsculpt is definitely better though and the neck on the shf is the only let down proportion wise imo

For me, ShFiguarts is much more accurate to Andrew Garfield's body. The mafex is a nice figure but it is not different from the proportions of their other releases (nightwing, batman hush, the spiderman comic, Winter soldier and Cap, etc.)

i have the mafex one on preorder but idk if it 100% on it. the shoulders are way too broad. and i already have the shf. i did a comparison with the mafex toby and the body looks the same, just a retool of it

Yea the shoulder area is awkward on both Andrew and tobey, I feel like tobeys atleast has an excuse to turn into an og trilogy version but the Andrew one being so buff makes no sense, still looks nice tho

I don't like how the SHF is cut around the pelvis all that much. The way the thighs are articulated make the leg not flush. It's not that I hate SHF I think some of their figures are certainly better than others. That SHF Indiana Jones is fantastic for example. For me it ultimately comes down to the having that unmasked headsculpt. I think it looks close enough to Garfield and I think Mafex seems like their likenesses have improved. The Classic Cap from Winter Soldier and Bucky look pretty solid. So if I am going to get all three? I would like to have unmasked options for all three. Even the SHF Deadpool and Wolverine don't have a unmasked Logan. So the $25 Hasbro Wolverine is what I will be going with there.

I collect a lot of Mafex figures but Imo the SH figuarts version of Spider man are better than the Mafex ones.

I feel like the mafex Nwh tobey and Andrew look so bulbous if that makes sense, I do think posed the nwh Andrew looks pretty nice, both shoulders are weird tho, more on the tobey

in general mafex have much better spideys but for this one i’d say shf have a much nicer paint than mafex but mafex has a better crotch piece and probably articulation as usual and i’d say the andrew head is better for the mafex and it is acc included

I think Mafex has the better No Way Home Tom but yeah SHF Tobey and Andrew clear their Mafex versions

@@BlackCaesar00 I honestly think shf Tom has better proportions but the mafex got such good textures and still a good sculpt. No hate to mafex collectors but idk how buttflaps annoy them more than those weird shoulder areas on the Andrew and tobey

@@luvedrage3578 facts I don’t understand why people are acting like the Mafex tobey will be better than the SHF. I’d much rather have extra buttflap articulation than robot looking shoulders. Comes down to preference at the end of the day but the latest isn’t always the best

Sh figuarts It has the best joints and then it costs less the mafex looks like a Marvel Legends well colored but smaller

@@luvedrage3578 the overall frame is more accurate to tasm 2 but the shf is more accurate to no way home and the neck is too long in my opinion

@@twink845 that’s interesting, I feel like the shf is more accurate to both tasm 2 and Nwh, especially cause It’s the same suit used in both movies, he never seemed that “buff” to me, but the neck on the shf is definitely too long, both look better posed though

@@Smile-ji5it yea, I agree, and for the price that shouldn’t be the deal but it’s fixable by buying a custom headsculpt that sits lower on the neck, this one guy makes them on ig and it looks way better with it
