Nah, amongst the Peter Parker figures the 075 (reissue) is the only one that has no problems. 108 has weak joints, 147 has paint chipping issues and 185 has both.

are you serious ? its OBVIOUSLY mark bagley art, look at the figures they picked : spider-man, carnage and venom, and venom and carnage look like the issue of carnage debut, in that comic venom didnt have the huge tongue yet. mcfarlene eyes are droopy and angry, bagley is round and has the notch on the top and in the inner part of the lenses. mc spidey is a mutant, looks creepy as fuck.

9:25 The best (red & blue) Spidey figure ever right there. Sold my 075 one (the semi-metallic blue is subtle, but it's still a thing ) to go with the full-on normal/classic version. Other than the differently proportioned/non-uniform box...the biggest bummer is no Parker head. So even though I sold mine 'cause realistically I was never usin' that Parker head...if I didn't need the money at the time, I definitely would've kept it.

What you need a calf swivel for when it looks so natural that way. The ankles move at 3 points so it can do something and look more natural than breaking the sculpt and overcompensating with a calf swivel. Which isn’t popular with most Japanese designers.

@finndeets always has been! Almost totally wrote them off way back in the day with their first Christian Bale batman figs. Insanely articulated and detailed for the time, but just fell apart any time you touched it. I just hope they figure out the knees and the hips mostly. I really love everything above the waist articulation wise on Mafex figures.

I love my mafed spidermen. Despite the new SHF spidermen having a lot of range they still fail to compare to the mafex spidey. Owning two of each classic and black suit. They’re amazing and high quality.

Love this figure, but it has some design choices that keeps it from being my favorite. Mainly the belt being on the lower torso and not the waist piece. And the hands and feet are too small, with short legs. It’s my favorite head sculpt / mask design out of the other companies tho. Thanks for the history and video!

Superb context and great video‼️ I started collecting McFarlen, Diamond Select, and Marvel Legends. But, as I matured in collecting I needed and expected more articulation, detailed sculpt and paint apps! Thus, my love for Amazing Yamaguchi, Mafex, and SH Figuarts (New Blue Suit Spidey) began. I will not collect anything else and gave my previous collection to my Son who also collects figures, comics, etc. and now his son (3 years old) has a very impressive collection as well. (A combination of my son and I previous collections).

My personal favorite is the Marvel Legends Final Swing Spider-Man. I know it's based on No Way Home, but it has little embellishments that make it feel more comic bookish, like more defined webbing and musculature. I generally like for my figures to look like comic characters translated faithfully to reality, rather than 3D comic book art, but that's just me. I think it's better value for the money than the import figures based on the film. Those just kind of look like dudes in cosplay, whereas the ML figure has just a touch of exaggeration to the anatomy that makes it work better aesthetically as an action figure while still being faithful.

I might be wrong here, but I notice that Mafex figures are more expensive than, for example, most SHFiguarts figures, and I'm certain that it's because of the accessories and the amount of them. With an SHF, you kind of get only the bare minimum, but with a Mafex? Extra heads, a lot of extra hands, and I realise that most Mafex figures include effect parts (web effect parts, etc), and you even get a posing stand! Gotta admit that I took quite a hit to my wallet when I paid for my Black Suit Spider-Man, and it really made me question my decision (partly cuz I have 0 actual experience with Mafex), but then it arrived in my mail...and all I'm gonna say is it's worth it. c: Loved how it looks and feels so much that I played around with it first, even though I was already late for a class.

I originally had the 1.0 Revo, then got the Sentinel and Revo 2.0. I love them all and I couldn't tell you which of the Revos I prefer since that changes day to day. Unfortunately, I did get the Mafex recently and it just isn't doing anything for me. It feels like it lacks personality, though perhaps thats me preferring a more exaggerated stylization. Like it's objectively good, I think, but I feel nothing when I handle it.

I own a Mafex Spiderman 075, Revoltech 2.0 Spiderman, a lot of Marvel Legends Spiderman, and all 3 live action SHF Spiderman. Personally the best one for me is The Renew Your Vows Spider-Man from Marvel Legends, interms of body sculpt (I like the more muscular built), durability and articulation, the downsides are, it has less accesories, no neck articulation. Next best Spiderman for me is the Revoltech 2.0, it has the best dynamic posing out of all the spiderman figure, the downside is that it has weird body sculpt, and weird articulation, so it's good for display, but not good for making stop motion videos, and lastly the legs keeps falling off. for the MAFEX Spiderman, to be honest I'm kinda underwhelmed by this figure, PROS it has a decent amount of accesories, great sculpt design, and paint job and shading, but the downside is, it lack thigh swivel, shin swivel, and the paint wears off easily on some parts, mostly the torso. for the SHF, I collected them since I like the live action spider-man movies, it has the most detailed design, but the figures itself are very mediocre. Conclusion, there are poses that you can do on mafex that you can't do on marvel legends, and there are poses in marvel legends that you can't do with the mafex.

Ngl something that I really love about mafex is also the cloth pieces they have for their figures Simple ones are the scarlet spider hoodie but the Peter b Parker and miles outfits are top tier My personal figure OAT is def the symbiote Spider-Man by mafex, fahrulstore’s ps5 head makes it so much better (not the biggest fan of the gigantic eyes, I like my eyes neutral or really squinty and angry, like web of shadows for example) The figures are top tier, tho the thigh swivel is a bit of a pain for spider-man especially

I would say that the comic paint is my favorite look of the mafex but, it depends on what you like if you want great poses go for revoltech it’s amazing, if you want him to sit almost on the floor and with the amazing look of the movie, the sentinel is your go to, but if you want to enjoy and have an amazing figure I would recommend the 185 it is a killa fs

@@finndeets probably gonna get the CT version. If it's gonna have shading/panel lining issues and I'll have to fix those myself, I'll at least pay less for the effort. Medicom is fumbling big time with the reissue of Mafex since its inception, and, in this scenario, I can only see the availability of KO as a good thing.

I love this figure and his variants, it is fantastic for display. Have you got the spiderman red and blue sh figuarts no way home? If not you should get he is almost perfect. Im sure you will like it.

The mafex is nice and all but I HATE the wonky skinny legs, also price point is crazy.

Totally see that and sometimes I agree. I guess I’d rather them go overboard with paint than not ENOUGH paint. But it should be more consistent for sure
