Kris, Susie, and Ralsei follow Berith's lead in the Cloudlands, determined to locate Cao Tinh and put an end to his destructive rampage. However, their quest takes an unexpected turn when they fall victim to a sudden ambush.
This surprise attack proves to be much more devastating than our trio could have imagined.

@@OffbrandDTraveler Also worth noting is that he gives us our tutorial, thus making several meta references by necessity, and I believe even namedrops specific buttons at various points across Chapters 1 and 2. There's definitely _something_ going on with the fluffy boy that we don't know yet. And while I'm not sure if this means he'll end up as a _villain,_ I'm willing to bet that he knows far more than the rest of the Lancer Fanclub realizes.

@@MasterSquirrel993 Sadly, their Canon Official name is indeed "The Fun Gang" as seen in Toby's old concept Art, or atleast is how he refers to them, Noelle also seems to a actual Official Member of the group (at least in some point in the Game) intrestingly enought! But yeah, The Lancer Fan Club is Factually the correct and better name 🗿

Wait, does this mean Berith part of the _playable_ Party? Maybe not, since Noelle also tagged along but never fought. Still, crap... now I wish we'd gotten to see what she could do... ...and hmm. Is that what a normal Darkner soul looks like? A rainbow-bordered soul is a very curious detail, I wonder what it entails. Edit: Actually I do think I recall a community post showing that off. Still, very interesting choice!

I honestly find Cao Tinh very, very interesting, especially when he exercises the SOUL’s power by overwriting the player’s save file. Also, do you mind me making a video dubbing over his voice lines?
