Sure glad I was up for this one Fred! I totally adore the 3 and 4 Musketeers. Awesome films (although they were filmed at the same time, which really ticket off the stars, many of whom sued Delaurentes). And, of course, all those comic books I had or at least read. Some of them are pure schlock, but who cares, lol. Great stuff Fred, as always.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say Rose Marie enjoyed a Marlboro or two. Great video Fred
@FIREBRAND3811 күн бұрын
Why? Because of her voice? Um, she always had that voice. In 1926 at the age of three, Marie started performing under the name "Baby Rose Marie". She was quoted as saying, "I had a deep voice, not like Shirley Temple but more like Sophie Tucker. I never sounded like a child so there were some people who thought I was really a 30-year-old midget."

Great video, Fred! I was in 8th grade, getting ready to go to high school that fall. Although there's been so much change in America over the past half century, it's comforting that both Elton John and Cher (at 9:31) are still going strong, and Mel Brooks is still with us.

Sadly no one even thought about someone being insane enough to fly an airplane full of passengers and fuel straight in to a building. Then it happened 3 times in one morning, with a 4th attempt en route until the passengers revolted against the terrorists.

Another fun one, Fred! I got my hopes up when Atlas Seaboard’s line of comics hit the spinner racks - like I would be in on the ground floor of something big. Alas, they didn’t make it for various reasons I’ve since read about. Goodwin and Ditko’s “The Destructor” was my favorite of the Atlas line. What a great time to be young.

So, Soviet Russia sends *a team* over here to learn how to set up a library, but ten years hence, they won't allow one phone call to Quantico to try to stop Andrei Chikatilo? Hm. Looks like things are indeed f-ed up all over. Great video, Fred!

I happen to be the prophesied return of the biblical prophet Elijah...and this video is a wonderful walk down memory lane...at a time when I have such an advanced understanding, and at a time when drastic changes are coming. It will get very bad, as in the pains of childbirth. But the "child" that will be born is worth the price. We are being taught to Lose Fear and Desire Truth: THAT is how you will obtain salvation. Salvation from what? Salvation from this realm of limitation, which is literally HELL. The "good news" is that this painful hell is self-imposed and is guaranteed to end, not with "death" (which is your current experience!) but when you rediscover limitless LIFE - by desiring Truth without prejudice. All important mysteries have been unveiled. Seek and ye shall find...
