What do you think about the American church?
@purplespeckledappleeater8738
@purplespeckledappleeater8738 2 ай бұрын
There are estimates that there are as many as 36,000 different Protestant denominations across America. That's a big diversity of different ideas about what it means to be a Christian. There are accusations that some denominations are barely practicing Christianity and are beginning to evolve into something else.

I love The Lord and you are more than welcome to bring him into your shows. The more the better. Anyone with a problem about it can mosey on over to some CNN/Biden losers. Or they can open their mind and listen and realize that accepting The Lords Grace will completely change your entire life. Bless you all

"When God wants to judge a nation, he gives them wicked rulers." - John Calvin
@chrismaguire3667

Calvin came to an incorrect conclusion - it's not a judgment, but *a CHASTISEMENT!* Judgment is a merciless end, chastisement is a merciful correction and a chance to 'choose wisely'. Choose this day whom you will serve...

I watched your interview with Bear and found myself here tonight . "Coincidence , I'm sure ." The interview was intense and powerful ! Strangely enough , so is this ! There are times in this journey where I realize that the words that just fell out of my mouth should have stayed contained . Time for "course correction "...thanks for paying attention to the Hand on your shoulder...I needed this !

Thank you, Chad. I am pleased to see that you "ain't skeered" or ashamed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and the importance of being real in our daily life....every. step. of. the. Way. At 70..dang! SEVENTY! How in the Sam Hill did that happen? You'd think I would have it all figured out. Nope. So now, I am reading my Bible daily but also, I am led to spend time in one on one prayerful meditation with Jesus. "Be still and know that I am God."

I grew up Methodist. For many years I have not been good with it. A couple of years ago I came across Bear Independent ( TJ Morris). Now slowly I have been learning the way. Living a life of the Torah is not easy, but I feel closer to our Father. At 62years old I feel more peace. I have always tried to be humble and live the ten commandments and be the best person I can be. I still have many faults. I will pray for you, Chad. I say my prayers many times everyday. I know Yah our Father is good, but sometimes we need to be humbled.

Our best friend is a preacher/pastor. He's just like you. He's human, pisses people off, and sometimes just can't shut up because God puts a burden on him to speak. He is VERY open about his sordid past. It humanizes him, and helps unbelievers and believers alike. He struggles just like us. You may not have a church with walls, brother Chad, but you are being called to speak the words God is putting on your heart. Been watching you since the "unapologetic southerner" video. Will be coming her for your podcasts more often now! God Bless You! (And by the way, we just started a lil ole church gathering a couple months ago. We show up in our shorts and flip flops and our bibles. We talk about and learn about GOD! Where 2 or more are gathered, right?)

Blessings brother Chad, from this old man, born again believer in Jesus Christ my Savior, living in northeast Tennessee. Blessings in this renewed relationship with our Lord. My late father was a pastor, of the heavily authoritarian manner. I was well educated in Gods Word, but at the age of 35, I caused my first divorce and proceeded to live a prosperous yet sin filled life. Now, at age 68, I’m physically broken and yet, God never throws out someone in whom He once began a work. I Love God. I love and Glory in His Brilliant Plan, all of which He made known to us through His Holy Word…the Holy Bible. Your interviews are great. There are many Pastors who would be good to interview. Dr. Andy Woods is one of my favorite Bible teachers. He is the Senior Pastor of Sugar Land Bible Church, in Sugar Land, TX. Please keep me in your prayers. On June 16th this year, I had double spinal surgeries fusing vertebrae to stop my nerve bundle and vascular system from being pinched. God continues to heal me, but it’s a slow and painful recovery. Revelation 22:20 Even so; come Lord Jesus. Amen.

Here's the thing the Bible said tht judgment MUST BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD .. BC IN THE BIBLE THE CHURCH WAS THE MORAL COMPASS FOR THE WORLD, NOT JUST THE CHURCH. The church once had the power of God in its leadership and the majority of It's members..

You, I, we, wer made for such a time as this. It is no accident that Yah decided to take each one and put us here in His creation, in a timeline that spans thousands of years, with the giftings, talents and delights He imparted in us and even the troubles and challenges we've faced that grow us more into the image of Yeshua and to accomplish the tasks He put us here for, summed upby general orders 1&2, love Yah with everything you got and love your neighbor as yourself. The "how" we do those also ties with how He made us and has taught us. Just because you won't be a preacher doesn't mean you can't be an "iron" brother, keep being faithful to His calling and the leading of the Ruach. Shalom 😄

Great episode, as always. One small bit of correction in the story of Jonah, and I only bring this up because most people miss it and I believe there is a profound truth to be found there -- Jonah didn't actually warn the people to repent. He only told them judgement was coming. They took it UPON THEMSELVES to consider that if they repented, God might relent from destroying them, which is exactly what happened. I find that to be very profound, because in that I see God speaking truth directly into their hearts that went beyond what his flawed messenger (Jonah) was willing to speak. God involves us in what he is doing for OUR benefit, not because he is helpless without us. On the first day of his journey, Jonah set out into the city and proclaimed, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned!” And the Ninevites believed God. They proclaimed a fast and dressed in sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least. - Jonah 3 : 4 - 5

You always know you heard a good sermon if you leave church feeling convicted. It's not a good way to grow a mega church but if your preacher is telling you that you are a good person he's lying to you. The reason the Peter verse struck you different this time as you well know is the holy spirit. Without that we can't even understand the Bible. Why did you have to go to the book of James end The taming of the tongue. When my wife was alive she used that one on me a lot and I needed it. Maybe it's time I get off social media and stop arguing with idiots. When Jesus was asked what are the two greatest commandments he said " love the Lord your God with all of your heart and all of your soul and all of your mind and love your neighbor as you love yourself. " That second one has always kicked my ass

God called me out of the 'church system' 10 years ago. It was bad then... it is worst now. The goats have infultrated. The churches have gotten too big. There is no more church discipleship. There is no accountability...... because of one of the first things you said in the beginning of this video. "I know my journey.... you worry about your journey.". A true Christain will become born again...... regenerated. God will give you a new heart with new desires after His own. You WILL change. You WILL go through the life long process of sanctification as God puts the old man to rest and makes you more holy.... more like His son. Peter tells us to be ready to give a testimony. The majoriy of 'christians' who sho up at church can not give a testimony of regeneration and sanctification. We were also warned that the gate is small and the road is narrow..... and unfortinatly few will find it.... We were also warned that not everyone who said "Lord.... Lord.... have we not prophesied in Your name... cast out demons and done wonders in Your name.". And God will declare onto them.... "i NEVER knew you.... depart from me".
