my dad served over 20 years in the coast guard its crazy how often people forget about the branch even though they do a lot to protect our nations coasts and save those in trouble on the waters.

US Coast Guard severs a vital and important role in our country wish they weren't treated as the punching bag of the military so much I've seen some of what they do and saw a video were one of them jump on a Narc Sub in order to open the hatch to prevent them from diving.

I spent 24 years as a trombone player in the Army Band. I played this Armed Forces Service Medley several times a week for 24 years! I have been retired from the Army band for about 20 years now. Thank you, not only for the honor you paid our veterans, but also for taking me on a MAJOR nostalgia trip. I cried all the way through!

I am a veteran and thank the ladies for doing this video. I feel compelled to say, however, that I have never approved of the change in lyrics. For me, the official song of the Army will always be 'The Field Artillery Song'. Tradition is an important part of every service and it is hogwash the the song "needed" to be "updated." Just my two cents on the matter. May the Fourth be with you.
