I think it was covered in an earlier season, the scenes from Phillip/Mischa's childhood after the war, having to beat other kids to death with a rock to stay alive...I think of their kids. How they truly have zero clue about what their parents went through at their ages, just like I, a 40 year old man, has no idea what my 84 year old dad went through as a kid being born in 1940 and how RADICALLY different today's world is.

She was traumatized AND her whole perception of her mother was altered radically, She had her mother labeled as her "MOTHER" and there was recently added some "spy" whatever that meant in her head, then she was suddenly given a non Bond movie nonsense lesson in what that means - Give her a minute to come down and process, man.
