Good drummer, but seriously overusing fills here/doing his own thing regarding fills... If you’re playing another drummers parts you should always respect that and learn it note to note

Heh. Most shows I've been to the drummer didn't play note for note. You should have the same groove, but you might as well just play a track if you're never going to change anything about the song.

I see what you’re saying, but at the same time, that’s a tall order for a drummer. He’s got play the whole set! He can’t possibly remember every hit exactly how it was recorded. You gotta he’s incredibly tight in this video

Or maybe you should just play what others members of the band asked you to play and apparently he was allowed some liberties and that's for the best !
