Jason LovesABR i canceled my pre order for parkway. That album is just god awful. 10 songs and 2 are interludes? Nah I’m not paying for that. Ok, I had to google the "Luckiest man" quote in the song and apparently it is an abridged version of a speech made by Lou Gehrig in 1939. And christ that just makes the song even more powerful. Imagine being one of the best baseball players of your time and having your career ended by ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease/ motor neuron disease). Stephen Hawking also had it.

TAA has been one of my favorite bands for years. I've seen them live and I listen to them whether things are rough or not. However, as of recent, this band has done something for me that no other band has ever done. My best friend took her own life almost three months ago now.. and to be honest it's been the toughest thing to deal with despite all I've been through. Obviously it's hard to deal with the death of a loved one. But the kind of relationship we had was something that I will never find again and I feel completely empty, as sad as that sounds. That's where TAA comes in. Music has always been a way for me to express myself whether it's through playing guitar or sharing music with friends. And after what happened with my best friend, TAA's music has meant so much more to me and I was able to relate to specific songs in a way I never thought was possible, very much like this song. Listening to them helps put my feelings at ease. I cannot thank them enough for what they've done for me and I don't think I will ever be able to. I know it's gonna be a rough road but I know that with the help of their music I can stay strong.
