Like how you listen to each piece of wood for its use.

Glad it was helpful! My whole backyard is edged with the larger logs from all my trimming. I should make an updated video. Check out my new band (Hunnitap) if interested, Live Streams coming soon on Jedi Jingle Maker (my original music KZbin channel, please sub if not already and leave a comment, thanks!) kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqbFaIWwZ96sjtk

Cool deal Sir Yoda. I'm in the process of doing basically the same thing. I'm in the process of trimming up my live oak, the branches are hanging down way too low for vehicle traffic and it's way over do. I need to redo several beds edging in the front yard. The leaves go out to my beaver lines and the wood goes to my beds. I never let any material go to waste ifin I can help it. I live on 3 acres with probably 2 1/2 acres of woods, so lots of Organic materials. Me likey. Your yard looks great, makes me envious all you have tucked into such a small area. You're rockin it dude. Peace

Thanks Gerald, that sounds really cool! The more organic return the better, just make it happen in pieces that fit in with what you need to get done, so it is art and function.

Where do you get the wood?
@EatYourBackyard2 жыл бұрын
Great question @Peter Salls, and thanks for watching, I recently had my front yard oak professionally trimmed and part of the deal was to put the logs in piles. Made it cost less also, which was nice.

@@EatYourBackyard hmmm, maybe I can get my neighbor to trim his tree. Lol
@EatYourBackyard2 жыл бұрын
Yep, and if you take the wood, should cost the neighbor less, win win!

Yes, soaked in sweat and ready to place my bet. Just a dude wandering around putting sticks on the ground. As the old Zen saying goes, "Supernatural powers, carrying water, chopping wood".
