I saw the angels live in a pub in Wellington 1983 I was 16 years old. And all the motorbike gang members were there up the front with me. You should of seen the smoke come out of the band room as the Angels came on stage. We ALL got stoned straight away. And the gang boss kept filling my glass with beer. I was brave then and still am. Such a cool night! And the boarding school staff didn't notice I was missing for several hours. So cool. Thanks Doc and the Angels. RIP buddy.

"Beyond Salvation" was a great album. One you should look up is "Liveline," an album of live tracks, and there's something about these guys that makes them sound a whole lot better live than they do in the studio. There's an uncensored version of "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?" The audience participation tells you why it's been banned from school dances around the world lol

I often JACK UP my car stereo, window down, arm out, blasting angels and AC/DC. I did it back in the early 80’s in my black ( mad max ) HQ and I’m still doing it in my RAV4 hybrid 🎉 do what you enjoy cause YOUR OUT OF HERE SOON ENOUGH

I was listening to Angel City (The Angels name in Canada), since 81 and this band, signed by Malcolm and Angus Young's bro, George, is one of the best kept secrets in rock music. I actually corresponded a bit with the bassist, Jim Hilbun, aboot 9 years ago, for a bit. He was bassist in mid 80's on the Smmmokin' 2 Minute Warning album. Get the fuck out of that album
