Valdez Peninsula, a wedge of Patagonia that juts out into Argentina's Atlantic seaboard is probably the richest area for wildlife in South America outside the tropics, particularly the marine life of sea lions, fur seals and elephant seals.The region comprises the southern section of the Andes mountains as well as the deserts, glaciers, grasslands east of this southern portion of the Andes. Inside the Peninsula is an arid scrubland, part of the windswept Patagonian Plain that covers most of southern Argentina. It is home to large colonies of up to 100 Patagonian hares or maras which, rare for mammals, pair for life. The peninsula is a stronghold of the elegant guanaco which is unique because it never needs to drink water and survives just on its meagre diet of desert plants. Look for the incredible wildlife yourself!

Ric Barnes right ? Thank U!!! I can’t stand it and won’t ever watch anyone’s intrusive ads, bombarding the videos on here just so they can benefit off exploiting whatever content just so they can profit. I’m sick of the internet , KZbin in general and will not lay to have ad free viewing on freaking KZbin , nor will i due any ad blocking program , as everything remotely possible online there entities can get their selfish money hungry little cut out of it , while obtaining every bit of peoples personally identifiable info , violating privacy , security , safety and rights .. I am not freaking about to conform to the crap and I don’t even watch commercials during tv , why would I sit through some 30 or more year old video that’s plastered with annoying ads ! Bad enough they do everything else that they can , just to intrude and Violate peoples Privacy and treat everyone like they’re only just billboards to benefit off of , plastering whatever incessantly annoying bs everywhere just so they can intrude and use whatever tactics to obtain peoples info , track , monitor and maliciously , surreptitiously get all this info and they should be held accountable and restricted from being allowed to do to this crap. People blindly accept whatever terms and conditions and allow all these advertisers , third parties , marketers , apps , sites and pages to invade privacy and get away with their little tactics they claim are simply to “ better serve “ people with relevant ads based ok their online use, shopping habits , or if whatever entity can , they’ll obtain bs off people’s microphone and camera , as they’re often doing , though they claim not to ... KZbin being one of those... and funny how all these morons just allow it and sit idly by bc oh no. If they don’t agree and allow the garbage , they can’t visit whatever stupid site or app or whatever else and enough is enough. I refuse to contribute to anyone monetizing freaking crap on KZbin ... and especially when someone is trying to put ads in content they sure didn’t even have anything to do with creating and don’t own , etc. yet they Can just get money off other people’s content ? Screw that’ bs. I hate the internet/ social media and it’s complete bs if anyone thinks I’m going To sit and watch the garbage just So some random average person on KZbin can benefit and make money ... it’s so rude for someone to even put ads during their content ,, idk if they all think they’re some big deal or whatever , but it’s stupid. It’s freaking KZbin ... such bs. I have no regard for any so called “ channel “ or entity / whatever that thinks it’s ok to bombard ppl with stupid ads .,, I won’t sit through that bs for anyone. Screw them with that crap. Sick of it.

Wildlife documentaries are very expensive, require experienced camera operators in very remote locations, requires very tough individuals, and lots of patients. "Reality," television is super cheap to produce and requires little effort. It requires no skills at all. It does not even require a good camera operator. All it takes is a drunk that can barely hold a camera to point it at a bunch of losers. Tadah! Instant, "reality," show.

This brought back a lot of memories - years ago I was crewing aboard an ocean-going yacht/sailing vessel and we dropped anchor all throughout Patagonia, including in places which were not even on the chart or had a name. It was nice to go to areas that had not been subjected to mankind or leftover pollution, and see the wildlife in its pristine habitat. One of the things that I remember is how the fishing boats going into the towns would be followed by crowds of sea lions and not gulls, like they were back at our home port in Massachusetts.

I think pumas are on the north of argentina, near the jungle, as long as i know eagles aren’t from this region, i think near the andes there are Condors, something similar to eagles, and i think foxes aren’t as swell from this zone, and argentina has snakes but i dint really know where.
@muzasbar
@muzasbar 4 жыл бұрын
I can answer this cause i live in Patagonia: There are LOTS of pumas, but thanks to legal hunting and poaching inside protected areas, currently they are found mostly on the Andes foothills and some remote places of the grassland and coastlines; I think less than 10 pumas still live inside the Peninsula. Lots of foxes too, Chilla (the smallest) and Culpeo (the largest one, the size of a German Shepperd, the second largest south american canid after the Maned Wolf) Lots of skunks and armadillos too

Chilean Patagonia (or the Chilean South) is the one that resembles the land of the Elves and the world of the Avatar movie; While the Argentine Patagonia (or the Argentine south) is more like the landscapes of Mars. www.google.com/maps/@-48.2347703,-72.9445761,1815878m/data=!3m1!1e3 In any case, you should have visited the largest glacier in all of Latin America, and located in Chile, = the Brüggen glacier, with 1,250 square kilometers. Perito moreno, on the other hand, has 240 square kilometers. (Although the Chilean glacier is not accessible by land, you must take a boat to get there)

Chile's territory is not mention at all in this video. Moreover, in counter 02:28 shows Patagonia map and in 02:37 clearly states "Its western bounderies is the jagged wall of the Andes". I would recommend knowing the facts before miscalling the southern region of Chile. Please note that the ‘Chilean Patagonia’ does not exist. Patagonia is only one and is located wholly in Argentina: Between the XVI and XVIII centuries the toponym Patagonia was given to all territories located to the south of the Rio de la Plata estuary. During the XIX century, Argentinean legislation created on October 11, 1878, the Patagonian Governorship under the command of Colonel Álvaro Barros, with jurisdiction beyond all provinces upto Cape Horn (Cabo de Hornos); and with the 1881 Boundary Treaty with Chile, Argentina DEFINITELY obtained the sovereignty recognition of Patagonia. By surrendering future Patagonian claims, Chile obtained exclusive control of the Strait of Magellan. Usually, only Chileans whom from childhood have been inculcated with the chauvinism, xenophobism and racism of historian Francisco Antonio Encina’s ‘Fantastic Chile’ (Chile Fantàstico), could harbor in their mind the conviction that notwithstanding they have surrendered any Patagonian claims in 1881, they have nowadays the right to usufruct the toponym Patagonia for their own touristic benefits. Chileans have no Historical, Biogeographical or Geological truthful arguments, Patagonia is only one and located entirely in Argentina.

We gathered at late hours, around of 3 AM or more, under artificial lights and loud complex patterns of sounds. We do a tipical dance where the males compete with each other for females, we growl at each other, and sometimes we fight. The patagonian human female tend to choose the males with thicker wallets as it means they are genetically succesful specimen. After that we proceede to intercourse in cars or in wooden homes. Most males wraps it genitalia in some kind of greasy plastic but scientist are not sure why.

a sloth the size of a elephant could be the coolest animal ever. I want to try to tickle a sloth as big as a adult elephant!

Excellent video overall, wonderful narration, but a little bit too much time spent on the most graphic part of some of the mating rituals. On a separate note I would love to redevelop a part of that beach front property into a paradise luxury resort
