I am 50 now and i remember listening to this song at parties,discos,bars.etc...when i was 18,struggling between work and school,the cold the rain and the warm days of spring/summer. Brings a nostalgic smile reminiscing those times....when music meant something and made your blood boil.That's what used to keep us warm on the motorcycle ! Bob Seger is right...."today's music ain't got the same soul.....". So,learn to appreciate those songs and keep in mind that back then we didn't have "a-rap"..thankfully or any of today's crap, few artists today have the passion and make music and while they sing they are putting their soul in it.Long live the '80's !!!!

Je me souviens avoir vu Eric chanter cette chanson au Merryweather Post Pavillion dans la banlieue de Washington DC en 1983. C'était pour la promotion de leur album "Ark", symbole de leur réunion presque 20 ans après leur séparation. Un grand souvenir, un grand concert. Eric is the best !

Didn't get to see them. What i like about Eric is the fact that he wasn't afraid to try something... check out Paint It Black. I always found he had a slightly aggressive approach to most things he did, which is why he has lasted. Thanks for your comments..they are appreciated.

remember this song from a k-tel cassette called hot tracks 84....im one of the few that remember this song from the 80's

Hot Tracks is what brought me here. For some reason, I remembered this cassette and was Googling trying to figure out what it was. Found the play list and was listening to the songs on KZbin. I have to admit, I don't remember this song at all. Also don't remember the songs "Dead Giveaway" and "So Wrong". All 3 songs are at the end of the sides of the cassette. So, I probably always quit listening once I got to them and flipped to the other side of the cassette.
