I'm so glad Dororo won something lol. It gets a lot of flak for some lackluster episodes and a drop in animation quality in the middle (which I've read somewhere was because the studio was stretching itself with other projects but idk), but its character work was done SO well and it's one of the most solid endings I've seen in a (completed) series. The ending was so bittersweet because you really feel the journey the two protagonists (and many of the other cast) go through. IMO it's worth the watch (and it was my favorite OP from last year too). Vinland Saga is my AOTY because everything was incredible, but I'm not mad about what won and what didn't. BNHA is pretty much my fave series still but there are moments later on in the story I hope will get adapted well, because the point it's at right now makes sense why it wasn't up for much lol.

Many people say that demon slayer only won because of the animation and I just had to put in my 2 cents. I’ve been in love with demon slayer way before episode 19 or even 11 where zenitzu got that cool animation scene. the show is clear with its story telling and is good at leaving questions for the watcher, similar to naruto. I love how they hint at things that need more explanation because it creates those cliffhanger moments where it keeps you wanting to know more. Like why did muzan attack tanjiro’s family and turn nezuko into a demon. And what’s the beef with muzan and tanjiro’s dad, why is the leader of the demon slayers hella fucked up physcially, and so on. Vinland Saga to me was really boring and made me feel like I was forcing myself to finish it because it wasn’t very exciting to me. I don’t understand what people talk about for character development in that show because thorfinn is really only a dynamic character for the first 6 episodes, then because INSANELY static for the rest of the story because he stopped developing. All he cared about was killing one guy and getting revenge in a very annoying way. The fight scenes in Vinland was great tho, however not better than demon slayer. So I’d choose demon slayer everytime over Vinland. AoT’s last season has no complaints from me. Everything was great. The storytelling, the overall storyline and explanation of the world, the fight scenes, and character development of Erin. AoT vs demon slayer is a LOT closer for me because they are both really good. The reason I would give it to demon slayer is because it’s still in its FIRST season and no other anime really has covered so much yet creates excitement for more like this one did. In attack on Titan the storyline is really cluster fucky for the first 2 seasons, but the 3rd season they put out was a 10/10. I love how they summed up everything that happened in the world and resolved pretty much ALL of the mysteries within a couple episodes. So, In conclusion i would give the win to demon slayer because the anime just dropped one season and accomplished a lot of story telling while creating excitement to find out the unsolved mysteries, while in comparison, AoT is at the point in the anime/story where they are concluding the anime and doesn’t create as much excitement for the next season as demon slayer. As for MP100 I still haven’t seen it. And JoJo’s isn’t even worth mentioning cuz that jawnt sucks.

Adeeb Jagirdar i wasn't happy with that either. Season 3 part 2 was the biggest event in AOT history and biggest season from what it building upto. Though I am not mad with Kimetsu no Yaiba demon slayer won for best anime of the year cause this was its first season and it deserved it too.

MHA was definitely a let down this season so I get it when they think it's alright. Just wait until next season when it actually becomes more interesting and intense, and they'll actually have enough animators since there wont be another movie

Best Animation should've been Demon Slayer, it's the kind of animation that can actually suit most other anime and be a good standard to follow. But Mob Psycho was the most innovative art style and there should be an award for that. And there is a difference between animation (the way drawings simulate movement) and art style (the use of colors and shapes). Dororo! is an anime I recommend, it's good but the character design wasn't that great, the characters in Dororo wouldn't look that out of place in Rurouni Kenshin or Inuyasha whereas Demon Slayer is more distinctive. I'm glad Demon Slayer got anime of the year, I also love Vinland but I can enjoy Demon Slayer more when I rewatch episodes and Demon Slayer had better animation, art style, a more likable main protagonist - I found Tanjiro's consistent empathy and commitment to his journey more convincing than Thorfinn's change from perpetual avenger to pacifist - better cast of characters, and just more creative fights. Vinland Saga had my favorite opening, great ending, a great character in Askeladd (upstaging Thorfinn to the point that I wouldn't mind if he died halfway and the story continued with Askeladd -- too bad...) and would be my second pick for anime of the year. I've seen Demon Slayer, Vinland Saga, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, The Promised Neverland, Mob Psycho 100, Dr. Stone (up to E18), Dororo!, and Attack on Titan.

Christopher Rivera disagree with Demon Slayer for best animation, Demon Slayer is a mix of animation with a lot of post production work done in the way of CGI and particle effects. While it looks pretty, there’s not as much actual ‘animation’ going on in Demon Slayer as there is in Mob, let alone other shows like Vinland and AOT. It’s not a bad thing, Ufotable shows look incredible (looking at you Fate series), but definitely not deserving of best animation.

I think Askeladd should of been best Antagonist, but yall should check promised neverland because i think thats better than demon slayer. demon slayer = overhyped Also i agree with about my hero its alright/enjoyable. But, I dont think goblin slayers trash its enjoyable but it went downhill from what I thought i was gonna see from the 1st ep i was expecting constant dark shit but after the 1st ep it got soft hearted imo.
