Shocking doesn’t even begin to describe the fact that out of all the most likely stars to win this, hardly anyone expected Gohan to survive against one of the strongest beings in ‘One Piece’ history. But Gohan proved to be the ultimate underdog with a lot of heart going into this match. Now can Gohan pull off another miracle by winning the champions rumble? In the meantime, since we know the winner, let’s move on to the rest of the numbers: Two incredible feats came from this match overall. The longest overall competitor featured in the match goes to Kaido, whereas Ash Ketchum holds the record for most eliminations up until his elimination. Based on the numbers, Ash’s count clearly stands superior over Kaido’s, as the latter only achieved ‘half’ as many stars to take out unlike the Pokemon protagonist. Seeing as the data supports the following hypothesis, the superstar I nominate for a second chance in the second-to-last rumble would be… Ash Ketchum. As an additional note, I must address 'the rub'. Due to a 'glitch' that occurred during this match, Shanks was eliminated... but he did not go over the top rope (And yet the game makes it feel as though he did). This is a recurring element I've seen with this game, the tendency to glitch out at the worst possible moment. Because of this, we the fans are denied a chance of knowing whether Shanks actually 'had' a chance to win this rumble... or if his defeat would've been inevitable. Otherwise, from a creative standpoint, I look at this and I can imagine him saying, 'You know what? To hell with this! I got nothing to prove against these guys!'. Still... even if he 'does' get another chance, will he make the most of it next time?

Man that seemed like some stiff competition, good showing Rick! If you’re ever going to watch any anime, I would recommend Akira. A lot of people, including myself, refer to it as the best anime movie ever made. It is INCREDIBLE. But very dark. If you want some really good, wholesome anime to watch with your kids, I’d highly recommend any of Hayao Myazaki’s movies. Specifically Ponyo, Whisper of the Heart, My Name is Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Howl’s Moving Castle. They’re great movies to watch with the family, every one has a great message to give. And last one, another Myazaki movie, watch Princess Mononoke. It’s a little bit darker but one of my favorite movies of all time.

Fantastic performance today, Ricky J. You definitely brought your "A" game. Double R stamp of approval. Shanks deserves a second chance. Colossal Titan deserves MVP consideration.
