Well what i like about this anime is the progress feels natural, they didn't suddenly fall in love for each other in the first eps. They started out as a classmates then become friend until now become unofficial couple. And it's not just about romance, it also about self love and the development of the character.

He knows she's trying to avoid the guy, but doesn't have the confidence to say anything. Then right at the point he's about to lose any chance to say or do something, he pushes the bike to create a distraction in a way that her can try to play it off as an accident... it's cringe but fits the characters.

Dangers in my heart isn't like any generic romcom, at first it maybe seems like that but the anime goes deeper and deals with themes like inferiority complex, insecurity, frailty and make the characters overcome those in a realistic way. As a result, The Dangers in My Heart goes beyond just a lighthearted romcom and evolves into a series that can leave a long lasting impact on the audience.

One of my favorite things about this anime is how issues are treated. Misunderstandings get resolved and don’t drag on for whole episodes or longer. They both learn to understand each other’s problems and insecurities. I love how realistic their issues are too. Like how in the first season Yamada thought Ichikawa was ignoring her and Ichikawa lied . Then that same issue is brought up again in season 2 because she knew he wasn’t telling the truth. It’s so great because it’s so realistic. Things will bother you that you’ll think about even after you believe the issue was resolved. It’s just so good

"6:53 hit the nail on the head. I wasn’t watching just to enjoy the romantic moments or to see them get together quickly. What I truly love is the delicate portrayal of their inner struggles and growth. The male lead’s journey of personal growth brought back so many memories for me, and I was genuinely moved by his character. The difference between this and typical 'saccharine romance' is that I can't watch this as a detached observer-it resonates with me on a deeply personal level."

(so is Love is war and Bloom into you) I have watched MANY romance animes, and they almost always seem either fake, or weird, or unrealistically unrealistic, or has too much unecessary scenes that serves nothing the plot, or has cardboards kinnies as side characters. I swear, this anime really hit really hard. The emotional moments, funny moments, comforting moments, exciting moments and EVERYTHING. pls i cannot exaggerate. The quality is just MWAH. And sure people may not like some stuff about this anime, but for me, it just hits the apot and I absolutely love it. It was my fav since i started reading the manga. I stopped reading when i knew an anime was coming. The moment i knew it was something special is when i saw the though process of the typical middle school kid. It felt accurate. Like the class idiots acted that way in real life... It is extremely relatable. And what is most impressive is when i realized the writer was a woman and yet she had such a good understanding that she wrote extremely realistic male char. I loved how they don't even kiss on the lips in the end of season 2, it shows how slow and natural this romance is and how it's more than just looks and impulses, but instead the heart. Also Hanzawa is something a lot of people can relate to, many people just look at romance at a distance since they do not understand it or they cannot participate in it, which saddens you a lot.
