The Anthony Roll, The British Navy: from longships to battleships, part five

The Anthony Roll is an important record containing the only contemporary descriptions of 58 naval vessels many of which are pictured, including the carracks Henry Grace a Dieu, known as ‘Great Harry’, and the Mary Rose.

A most interesting story all researched very well and gives the other side of Henry's reign which I knew about but only about the M R which sank and was lifted in my lifetime Thanks

I appreciated the views of the Galleasses as it reminded me of the early frigates developed later on. Perhaps I am mistaken, but the hull types seem similar. Thank goodness for the Anthony Roll.
