I started using rosehip oil about a month ago, and its amazing! I have very sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin. My skin has cleared up so much, and my acne scars have reduced. I don't even feel the need to wear foundation anymore, I feel comfortable enough showing my own skin (which for me personally, is very hard to do). I find that its more like a serum in that its easily absorbed by the skin.

I love Trilogy but sometimes it's outta stock so I bought a Rosehip Oil by Leven Rose. My friend, who's a esthatician(spelling) uses their jojoba oil and swears by it. I got it for my acne scars and to add to a new routine I'm trying to clear my acne up with all natural stuff like tea tree oil. Been using it for a week in the morning mixed with other ingredients and alone at bedtime for moisture and extra benefits. I love it! It's also great cause it's not as expensive as Trilogy.

I've used rosehip oil for years. It's the only facial product that has never left my routine since I discovered it. It's AMAZING. I don't recommend using it during the day as you could end up using pretty greasy. I use a few drops at night mixed with a night cream. I have very acne prone skin and t's never broken me out, makes my skin glowy and smooth and I'm about to be 30 and have no signs of any wrinkles or fine lines forming. I can tell a huge difference in how my skin looks when I run out. IT'S A STAPLE. I'm going to use it forever.

I heard about Rosehip Oil a few months ago so I decided to give it a try. Basically I was looking for an anti-aging product to help with hydration, wrinkles and the overall appearance of my face. My skin started looking like the life was draining out of it! It started to appear very dull! Well I love it! I do have to say... I am going to turn 47 in October and in the last month I have received more compliments on my skin than ever before! When I tell people I'm a grandmother they want to fall over... they said I look 30 years old tops! Pretty nice right! It has helped my facial skin so much! I'm extremely grateful for Rosehip oil!!

Haha, great to see this after praising the ol' rosehip oil in your last vid! Love this stuff. My tip is to apply the oil to a slightly dampened face - I spray a facial mist first and then apply the oil, as it helps to absorb it better and really minimizes any greasy feeling you might get from the oil. Once I started doing that, I have never applied it to my dry face again!

I recently found rosehip oil. Within a week my rosacea was completely under control. I could feel a marked difference in my very dry skin within just a couple of days. There was an immediate difference in how my makeup looked. I'm in the middle of menopause and get hot flashes. This oil doesn't make my skin feel slimy when I sweat. I use a heavy application before bed and a very light application before makeup. I'm amazed. I've got creams I've paid well over $100 for a small container and they don't live up to the expectations. This oil is fabulous. It's a game changer!

I have hormonal adult acne because I have a really bad case of PCOS. I'm 22. It took me about... 3 years to find a way for my skin to not break out (African Extracts Rooibos Purifying Spot Control Facewash + Applecider vinegar and rose water toner). The problem was that the whole thing was making my skin so dry. This would mean my makeup would look so textury and obvious that I would actually wipe it off and not have any makeup on the bottom half of my face. I would blend the top so that this didn't look too weird but this meant that if ever I had a blemish or anything that I wanted to cover on the bottom half, I just couldn't. If anything, makeup would make it look worse. So... I tried and tried so many oils and creams and moisturizers for my face, but every time I would break out. Then a couple months ago, I saw this video. There's not much range where I'm from and since I'm a student money is tight. But anyway, I waited til it wouldn't bankrupt me, and bought this immediately. Ever since, I've actually noticed I have less break outs, my scars (which I have a lot of since I've had acne since 2013) started going away and my skin looked brighter! I am really amazed with the product. I love it, thank you so much for recommending it and making this video. I remember you mentioned this in another video and linked this video which I then watched. I'm really happy with the experience. It's amazing and I can't believe how well it works. It's been about a month. I get a few tiny whiteheads but they're not the usual cystic acne I get and are probably just from normal oily problems. (I have super dry, super sensitive, super acne-prone skin and so I get scared of exfoliating too much). I am going to exfoliate a tad more often and then come back here in 3 months and say how it went because if anyone anywhere has had the same problem I'd like to help them too.

A lot of people are swearing that lugol's iodine is healing them of PCOS ..all I can say is do your research.. they say that lugol's is a stronger iodine and that some other iodine so you can't take internally... if you don't want to buy that maybe you should just start out with some black walnut tincture because that I think has iodine and I think it has helped me a lot with my pernicious anemia.. my son's girlfriend has PCOS but when I mention the lugol's iodine she doesn't really respond so hey if she wants to suffer let her suffer because it's like she doesn't hear me.. I don't know if she's just distracted or what because I mentioned it to her and a text and no response and then I told her again in person during the holidays.. I don't know .

Trilogy is my faaaaave rosehip oil brand and I've tried a bajillion brands here in Australia! It's amazing for my dry skin. You must try their Trilogy Rosapene Night Cream! IT. IS. HEAVEN. I layer it underneath the oil.

I was at Whole Foods today and got the Aura Cacia one! I couldn't remember which brands you recommended so I'm glad I guessed right. I'm so excited to try it. Thanks for your recommendations!

+M@R It's been really great, I'll definitely buy it again once I run out. I can use 1 pump for my face and neck. My skin is oily, and it doesn't make it extra shiny. What are your thoughts so far? Have you used it yet?

Mari CC I just bought it. Do you still use the product?

I'm obsessed with Trilogy Rosehip Oil too! I have oily, acne prone skin and I've never had any issues with this irritating me. Honestly I think using an oil over the last year has really helped to reduce the amount of sebum/oil my skin produces, plus it's so light. I have read reviews though that the Rosehip + Antioxidants caused cystic bumps in people with acne prone skin so I steer clear of that particular one!

how did you apply it? alone or mixed into other products? my have extremely oily and acne prone skin buy want to stay on top of moisturizing cuz I do get dry spots and irritation.
@DxAxLxAxNxD8 жыл бұрын
+Amanda Lynn I think applying it alone works best especially in the evening before bed but during the day of course you need spf.

+Amanda Lynn During the spring/summer I replace my normal moisturizer with this. I follow my typical routine/steps and sub this in. During the winter I can get pretty dry so I'll mix it with moisturizer. Oh and I only apply it at night since it's an oil. It is light and it absorbs quickly though!

+Stephanie H, my skin is so oily that the only dryness I ever get is around pimples from acne spot treatment haha. my skin is ridiculously oily, it's very frustrating. I've tried harsh treatments, I've tried natural treatmentz. I'm trying gentle treatments again like moisturizing and using tea tree oil as acne treatment rather than harsh chemicals.

Wish I'd found Rosehip oil earlier in my life, I'm 53 and only using it for the last 12 months but love it. Oh I didn't know about Virgin Rosehip, I am using cold pressed from the ordinary but don't know if it is virgin, probably not. I'll have a look for 'virgin' for my next bottle. I have similar skin to yours but I add a few essential oils for extra anti aging.

Watched this video last night. Went out today and found Rosehip Oil with vitamin E at Meijer. It says it's Organic and is cold-pressed. Hopefully it's as good as the stuff you use. I'm all about anti-aging.

Hi! I would recommend you to watch a channel that changed my skin forever (no kidding) the name is Dr Dray :) thanks to her I don't use foundation anymore (I just added rosehip oil at the end of my routine). I hope it can help :)

If anyone is considering getting the farsali oil serum that's like 55 bucks I suggest you get this one instead because it's the same thing but farsali is overhyped. I've bought it, (the farsali) and I love it but I'm not paying 55 bucks for it everytime it's best u go to a nearby store. I usually apply the oil with my foundation to give it this natural glow and it looks amazing.

I hear it's an amazing face oil so definitely going to be trying it. One way of using it as a deep cleanser is by applying it on the face, leaving for a few minutes then leave a hot towel on your face for few minutes . Have you tried it that way? You looked really hooot without make up by the way, I've always loved the natural look :)

I'm actually looking for new products for my day and night time routine. I have oily skin and also struggle with acne and I'm 26... I feel no skin care product really. The only thing I can say "woh, my skin changed a bit since I start using this" is the Clarisonic. I'll keep looking for but skin care is really expensive and buy stuff that then doesn't work for me really upsets me. I'll look more info about this oil, I use sometimes coconut oil and tea tree oil (for my acne). I often watch HolisticHabits on youtube, she use just organic and natural products, I think you will like her videos. She has such a beautiful hair and skin, is unbelievable! xoxo

+Juli Rossano so sorry to hear that! I would definitely do a lot of research on your specific skin type before trying anything new. It took me a LONG time to figure out what was best for my skin type and that was mainly because I wasn't sure what my skin type actually was!
@JuliRossano8 жыл бұрын
Melissa Alatorre Thank you very much! I haven't been able to find a good doctor that actually do something and explains things. I feel no one here truly understands and they just give you pills. So sad.. I'll keep looking and doing my own research, I have no other way. Thank you again! :)

don't use coconut oil! for acne prone skin is really bad actually. A lot of dermatologists say that is comodogenic

I don't use it every day or something like that. I always was afraid that it would give me some reaction, but it doesn't, it leaves my skin good and also my hair, my hair loves it.

I love Trilogy's organic Rosehip oil: it brightens & hydrates my skin (it feels soft & dewy for hours), making the skin on my face glow, & decreases the appearance of fine lines & discoloration. I still use Juice Beauty's organic antioxidant oil, but, unfortunately, it irritates the skin around my eyes so I have to be careful while applying it to avoid the eye area, hence it's so important to get samples and test the skincare products on your skin before committing to buying a new product. Juice Beauty is a wonderful organic skincare line, and its antioxidant serum is still an amazing product. In the winter my skin tends to get much more dry, so I add Weleda's skin food cream to my regular skincare regimen, and I use organic coconut oil on the rest of my body as a moisturizer all year around (also, if I absolutely have to use oil in cooking or baking, I use coconut oil exclusively). I wish I would have discovered Trilogy & Juice Beauty's oils and serums years ago, since they really do work, do not contain toxic ingredients, and simplify my skincare routine. I wash my face w/ organic, gentle face wash that doesn't contain parabens and other nasty ingredients, then follow it up by putting several drops of Trilogy's rosehip oil on my face, neck and hands. I used L' Occitane products for many years thinking they're the best on the market without even questioning the ingredients I was subjecting my skin to. Happy I finally discovered something so basic yet so magical
