I wholeheartedly believe that children should not have sex changes until their brain is fully developed or at least until they are 21. I mean, the drinking age is 21. Smoking is 21. How on earth is it okay for parents to allow their child to have a sex change when they cannot fully understand the impact this decision can have in their lives. However, allowing them to live their truth in their lives without a sex change is good. I have 3 friends who have had sex changes and regret it. They wish someone had talked them out of it. They were happy living as a male or female without the sex change. I only wish I could help them, but being there for them is all I can do. All three are on antidepressants. It just breaks my heart. I also agree that transgenders should not be allowed to join in sports where they were not born as that sex. That is unfair and should not be allowed.

I feel like Michael almost gets there but doesn’t hold the mirror up to himself. He spoke about living in “reality” and “truths”. But isn’t transgender ideology similar to many other ideologies in that it may have some roots in truths but also many other assumptions layered onto it. Like all the religions, they could be classified as an ideology. Someone could say that Michael’s religion is an ideology not grounded in reality, like transgenderism. But in the end for most of us reality is all down to our perception. Hence it is difficult to come to one common truth.

So there is a point but I think you take it too far as you are undermining objective truth and objective reality with this. Ideology can be based in truth and reality but it doesn't make them true or real. Evolution for example, takes a small truth (natural selection) and explodes it into maco evolution. It has no basis in reality but is sold as real because it's popular and people think it's a way out of dealing with right and wrong. A universal truth that doesn't require religious belief. However it doesn't have a scientific base as advertised and instead is a religious cult like belief system. This is basically to say there is something called the human condition, which compromises truth and distorts it. Pointing to problems deeper than just practical/biological science. Objective truth is not layered and is Infact something that doesn't change based on opinion but people seem to conflate science to that, or "common truth's" Either something is true or it's not, what changes is our view, interpretation, or information. This change (due to the human condition ) leads people to a place (honestly due to laziness) to moral relativism. Which is boarder line your point. To be clear you still point to higher/objective truth but it's boarder line. Perception doesn't change truth. It only changes our viewing angle. Reality does not change, but our view or interpretation of reality can change. Objective truth based on reality says there is a higher power. Michael is a Catholic which is filled with complete direct contradictions of the Bible. Catholics have picked and choose what they want and expanded on what they felt was missing from the Bible and use historical garbage to justify their position. So fundamentally I agree with your point, but your point also tries to dismiss the Bible and the truth it has laid out which we can observe to be true. So I don't agree with that. You're conflating ideology with religion and it's not the same thing. You can have an ideology that's based in religion, but you can't have a religion based on an ideology, that's defined as a cult. Which Catholicism would technically fall under honestly.

Gender theory doesn't have any root in truth though. You can perceive reality wrongly, that doesn't make reality wrong or different.

I wasn’t trying to dismiss the bible, just that it is one way to live out someone’s “truth” but maybe not the same for someone else.
