Specifically for this knot, I've been searching for about 7 years for a round tiger eye cabochon for use as the extra flare. Last weekend I finally found one, and I picked up a rounded-corner square labradorite as well that will hopefully fit. Hopefully the shimmer from different angles will be a statement maker. Thank you for this video, and for all of your other necktie knot videos. I come back to them every time I want to be fancy.

even if he does look and act gay (which i couldnt care less), the man is trying to show someone something that could benefit them later in life. i may not agree with a homosexual lifestyle but i am certainly not going to act differently towards anyone based on things like that because the thought has occurred to me that Jesus never shunned someone or degraded them based on trivial things like that and we as humans should strive to be more like Jesus in his ways and teachings. people need to stop being judgmental towards others and learn to love one another as a people instead of color or sexual preference. life is too short to be so petty.

+Skydunkdotcom awesome! Lol the amount of people that cringe when I even mention folding a tie is astronomical! 😂

Just when I thought the full windsor knot was the absolute epitomy of a nightmare you pull something like this off. Much respect my friend. mine turned into an intangible mess

literally better than majority of videos out there. i shall try this. do you have a merovengian knot?
@WhoSeesThis8 жыл бұрын
+TheSinsalida thank you very much! I hope it works out well for you! I actually don't have the Merovingian knot, Alex Krasny has that one, I think Patrick Novotny has one for it as well.

Good morning, and thank you for the amazing knots! I have a problem... For some reason, I cannot seem to convince my tie to stay folded for the full tying of this knot. It is my first attempt at one of your knots, and I was wondering if you had any advice on how to tame an unruly necktie. Thank you very much! :-)
@justinguerrero89418 жыл бұрын
You could iron it first and go right into the knot. The heat will make the tie a little bit loose and easier to work with.
@WhoSeesThis8 жыл бұрын
+Justin Guerrero interesting tip! I would say either make sure to have a towel between the tie and the iron, or make sure the temperature setting on the iron is set to low. So as not to damage the fabric of the tie. Thanks for leaving your tip!! Love it!

I've been seeing some cool stuff online today, looking at flying shuttle dobby looms, but this is the coolest! So creative and different. Thanks a bunch.

Great vid, thanks. I've rocked to this once thanks to you, but I need more practice. For the optional bling in the center of the aperture I used a cr2032 battery with red reflective DOT tape on the side with the size and voltage markings. The bare side has a cool texture and is fairly reflective silver in color. The reflective tape is subtle but when the light hits it right, it hits. I can flip it over to switch it up and if it gets lost it's no big deal. Thanks again and keep them coming!

Damned Linwood, once again I must say that we simply can´t stop you when you´re having another of your creative phases! :) :) Awesome!!

+René Henriksen Thanks! This knot gets TONS of attention, as long as it's tied correctly. Gotta take your time on the bends and folds for sure! Thanks for watching, as always! God bless!

Anytime man! These knots are fascinating. Sometimes it appears as if they´re just repetitions of old knots, but when you compare you see the small differences and variations. This Aperture knot reminds me of the Cyclone knot, the Penrose knnot and the Ilusion knot in one and the same knot.
@renehenriksen17359 жыл бұрын
And indeed they require that you take your time to grasp them. Some of these knots sometimes make me think they´re manifestations of the universe and its diversity. Some day there may even be a Universe or a Diversity knot. :)
@WhoSeesThis9 жыл бұрын
+René Henriksen I know what you mean! A lot of them ARE subtle variances! It's amazing how slight changes can alter everything though!
@renehenriksen17359 жыл бұрын
The same thing appears in for example chess and martial arts. Incredible that there´s no end to the possibilities if you have an eye for them. In chess for example if you get the right idea you must sometimes also play very accurately for it to work and other times it doesn´t matter so much allthough there´s slight differences in material, position and overall advantage...But that can easily get a little too abstract sometimes. :)

Would you need to use a longer tie with this style of knot, or would a regular length tie be acceptable?
