Hey man, thanks for your videos! Due to pain problems I'm going to switch to a trackball to play... I know you have a big collection of trackballs and I was wondering which one you think is better between the ploopy and the elecom deft pro, thank you in advance for your answer !

That's a hard one. In terms of ergonomics, I think I like the Ploopy more.

How do you like the gameball versus the Ploopy? Were you using a Ploopy Classic before? I feel like the MTE shape would be better ergonomically, and love the fact that it's open source. Debating which one to grab!

I was actually using the Ploopy Classic before this! So first I want to state, both trackballs imo are lovely to use. Each one has their strengths and weakness. 1. The Ploopy is indeed much better ergonomically. Because its open source its much easier to adjust if you want. 2. The Ploopy is louder! The rollers on the Ploopy make more sound when in use. Primarily why I like the Gameball more. 3. The Ploopy is more tunable with settings. Again open source advantage, you program your own software. 4. Related to "3." but the Gameball doesn't have firmware adjustment yet, so you're stuck with the key binding as is for now. 5. The Gameball has a cool scroll wheel. A weird last point, I just like the way they did the scroll wheel.

The trackball is the Gameball! Its the limited version. They are doing ordering for the next batch of the product right now I think.
