Oh my. To come across Bishop Paddock. It was nice being able to hear him again. I am thankful this has been published to hear. I was baptized and filled with the Gift of the Holy Ghost when I was 8 years old at Christ Temple Church Pastored by Bishop Paddock. My Grandfather LH Manning was his assistant Pastor. He was truly a man that new the word of God. I would love to hear a real sound Bible study. It seems people preach more then get into real Bible teaching these days. There is a need for sound meat filled Bible teaching. Thanks for putting this here.

Praise God! What a pleasure and blessing to hear Bishop Paddock after all these years. I grew up in Christ Temple Apostolic Church in MI and he would come teach/preach there. Bishop Paddock would eat dinner at our house, of course those were the days when visiting preachers lodged and ate with families in the church. Good gospel!

I heard of Bishop Paddock, when I was very young. I don't remember ever hearing him teach or preach. The Lord knows what we need, today, and I happened upon his Videos and decided to listen. I was so appreciative of God's Word. He was an Anointed Man and the Word is still living and operative. I love to hear some of our Apostolic Fathers. We really need to hear the teachings of our Apostolic Fathers. I am thankful for God 's leading in having you make it possible for us to hear these o time and in time messages. I can't think of too many Apostolic Teachers/Preachers who are teaching in this manner. The preachers/teachers seem to be more interested in style and self praise, that's why they say things like Y'all don't hear me, touch your neighbor, high five, all of this man made antics. It waste time and has nothing to do with the Word. God always feeds those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.

Thank you for sharing this video, it brings back many memories. Bishop Paddock was our Presiding Bishop when I was baptized in the name of Jesus and united with the PAW in 1971. I had the privilege of getting to know him on various occasions. One time, while he was the revival speaker at my home church , he went with me to meet my parents at their home. He was a great teacher and example of what a saint should be. With all his knowledge and position, he was truly humble and relatable to anyone.

I have been down in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost in 2018. I was first baptized in titles Father, Son and Holy Ghost.. No change in my life until I God led me to An Apostolic Faith Church. I use to live in Philadelphia and I would always walk the pass but never went in. My life changed in 2018.

I believe if we're going to become disciples in the Apostolic Faith ,we have to know the father of our times. Bishop Rader Johnson preached and taught saints and viewers alike . What we need to do in becoming holy in the sight of God. Scripture reading; roman:14-15 ASV.🤔

Greetings! I never had the pleasure of meeting Bishop Paddock, but my grandfather of blessed memory and my grandmother spoke so highly of him. He was an honored guest in their home and I respected the wisdom I was told that he had and the wisdom I heard for myself in a recording of a teaching he did on "Dress " and modesty. I heard it on a cassette tape decades ago, but could not get the 2nd part to it. Would you all happen to have that? If so would you PLEASE upload both parts? Thank you so much.

I’m curious about the intro and all the “Fathers”. How does this line up with what Jesus taught? Mat 23:9 - And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

With all due respect to this great man, he left out a main point of this passage in Hebrews 6. The entire book of Hebrews was addressed to the Hebrew Apostolics of the first century. The saved Jews caused tremendous divisions in the body promoting circumcision and other aspects of the Mosiac law. Repentance from dead works refers to the works of the Mosaic law. This is a misapropiation of the passage although the points from the Bishop can be loosely applied to us today.
@AllBrightColors5 жыл бұрын
Sir, there were no "Hebrew Apostolics".. there were JEWS.. plain and simple. Those who YOU would call Christians of that day were so far from the spectrum of what is called Christianity today that they would look at it with confusion. As well, they would balk at your statement "Repentance from dead works refers to the works of the Mosaic law. " as ANY Jew respected and honored the ETERNAL covenant made with Israel and the PERFECT LAW of G-d as it was given directly to Moses. They would have rightly and logically kicked anyone negating or degrading the Laws of HaShem out on their head.The characterization of G-d's laws as "dead" or negative are against the Creator Himself and the people He has made ETERNAL COVENANT WITH throughout ALL their generations. Anyone who would join the nation of Israel and was a male HAD TO BE CIRCUMCISED by the divinely created covenant. No ways around it. It's the Law of G-d.

Repentance from dead works refers to the works of the flesh that lead to spiritual death. For the wages of sin is death. Galatians 5:19.
