The Apple IIe (as seen in Terry Stewart's computer collection)

From my very limited experience, I've found the keyboards in the earlier Apple IIs and IIes are not that comfortable for extended sessions. However the IIe Platinum model's keyboard is a lot more comfortable, with a good tactile response.

To any Apple II owners out there - what it like typing on these machines? The keyboard looks like an ergonomic disaster for solid sessions of word processing.
