Its funny that they pinned Beth as the fiery creative yet she built a multi million dollar brand and is a total shark in business. I love Bethenny's story, its very uplifting and motivational. I don't believe Martha felt threatened by her, but Beth seemed a bit too emotional when it came time to talk to the boss and explain herself. Thanks for posting this, i never got to see this until today, had no idea she was second runner up, impressive.

I think Martha felt threatened by Bethenny which is why she ultimately did not choose her. Bethenny shines too bright on her own and could cause trouble for Martha. Dawna would have been a loyalist and an apprentice to Martha. Martha made the right choice because Bethenny got to go on a do much greater things on her own.

This did cross my mine but I do think Martha had more natural chemistry with Dawna and they would work better together. There is some friction between Martha and Bethenny because they are both SO type A.

Been addicted to this show since I found an old DVD copy while tidying up the house.After watching the whole season this is my personal take away. *A good team leader should be a good team member. *Your best asset is your people. *Be your project be successful or not you have to appreciate the effort your team has given in doing the job. *To be a good team leader means, you take the blame when your project goes wrong and if it goes great the biggest part of the credit is in your people. *No matter how great you are as a team leader you are worth nothing and can accomplish nothing without your team members.

Dawna won despite her handling the catering part and giving the fashion show to her team to deal with. Also if she had her own magazine how come she was unable to provide a nice program. Even the Liz Claiborne lady said the lettering was not centered. Bethany had to raise a million dollars as the representative for the charity informed her that was the roundabout.

Having done many events and fundraisers, Bethenny’s task was much more difficult than putting on a fashion show. That being said congrats to Dawna and Bethenny didn’t end up doing to badly for herself! Martha’s parting words should have been kinder but maybe they ran out of time. End looked rushed.

Dawna was a pretty obvious winner and she dominated the whole competition. I always got the feeling Martha didn’t particular like Bethenny or at least felt she wouldn’t be able to work well with a strong personality like her. Bethenny has went on to do so well anyway so they both won really.

I was looking for vids online of The Apprentice or Celebrity Apprentice when I found Martha's Apprentice show, which I also loved. I wish so much her show had been continued. She was very good, I loved her personal notes to the contestants, seeing her homes, etc.

Both were strong finalists. I agree Bethenny should have won - but at the end of the day it is Martha Stewart's company and decision, and she made her choice. She probably thought Dawna was a better fit for her company. Underrated series overall!

Honestly, Bethenny should have won. The fashion show was boring. But at the end of the day, look at all Bethenny accomplished several years later with her Skinnygirl brands and the fortune she's amassed. At the end of the day, she didn't need to win this competition. And Martha Stewart was a bit ungracious at the end.

Bethenny was the better player and should have won. Dawna is yawna. Perhaps why she fit in with the MS "brand" - safe. She had no control over her team, was very apathetic to the concept of fashion only to panic when her attorney friend (with little fashion sense) could not deliver. Moreover, there was absolutely no mention of the charity. Perhaps this is what the consecutive seasons improved upon - and yes, Donald Trump (as executive producer), was a better host than Martha, too -- and he might have let Bethenny won.

I really thought although Bethany doesn't come across as likable, given her performance throughout the season, she should have won. She faced more adversity and went through more, given her teammates and rougher style, however she had more weighted achievements.
