I wish that Elizabeth of York could have been alive at this point. Maybe she could have perhaps persuaded her husband Henry VII to be more generous to Catherine of Aragon about her poor financial situation 🤔 The Poor girl was technically all in rags at this point. Thank goodness that she kept her dignity, her since of pride, her self esteem and since of honor intact. I believe that it could not have been easy for her to do so in Henry VII's court after her mother Isabella Of Castile died and she lost her poltical value to Henry as a possible match for his second son.
