The Aristocats movie does hold a special spot in my heart. I would say it is in my classic Disney movie top ten list. It has a wonderfully quaint charm to it that brings delight and the comedy is nicely done. As a child I considered this an unofficial sequel to 101 Dalmatians-or, I should say, within that world. I just stumbled across your channel through the recommendation of this video. I like your commentary style and analysis-you've earned my subscription.

Thomas is definitively one hell of a cool character! Willing to help out a mother and her kittens, who weren’t even his own. And sure, he may have come off as a bit in-your-face-flirty towards Duchess at first impression, but he also wasn’t being perverted or creepy in any way. He actually turned out to be a friendly, helpful and cool fella. We need more characters like that.

Here in Italy it's one of the most beloved Disney movies (a spectacular dubbing greatly contributed to it) and yes, it's a freakin' good comedy! I think it indeed is one of the funniest movies ever made period, and has a very refined kind of humour to boot. Timeless. I also credit Adelaide for having introduced me to opera 😊😊, Bizet's "Carmen" had been the first title I've ever listened to/watched (mind operas basically are movies with actor singing all the time!) live, in Verona, and part of the reason for the choice was "The Aristocats".

This movie is so good! It's so highly underrated. It's one of those good, old-fashioned, family movies, that you don't see too much, anymore. It always scored big laughs, with my family and me. In terms of the animation, it had a more textured look, as opposed to most Disney movies, such as Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty, which often had a more polished look. It had a quaint sort of charm to it. It was made when fairy tale adaptations had tapered off, after Sleeping Beauty, and animated films had a more realistic look and feel to them, especially in terms of story. I'm new to your channel, so great job! And as for Thomas, OH NO, HE'S HOT! 🥵

I think this movie gets a bum reputation mainly because it came out of Disney's "Dark Age". You know, the one before this current one. Honestly, I've only seen two movies at came out of that era (this one and Robin Hood) ... and I really don't have a problem with either of them. They're just good, wholesome fun.

This is one of those childhood movies that I watched as a kid back at the 90's (along with many others) that still has good comedy upon revisiting it multiple times. The charming characters, the music, and the voice performances. My only quibbles is that the animation isn't quite as strong when compared to the Golden Age and the Disney Renaissance considering it recycles certain animation sequences from the previous movies Disney made before Walt Disney himself died and the story is somewhat predictable but only in it's execution. However, that doesn't take away the relaxing fun nature of the movie and I'll always remember it even if I get older than 30 years old. The fact that Modern Disney is remaking this in live-action makes me groan.
