Apparently humans and twi'leks are genetically compatible enough to produce hybrid offspring, assuming they aren't some genetic assimilating monstrosity like genestealers, that means it's very ikely a majority of the humanoid mammal aliens in Star Wars share a common ancestor with humans, or are very distantly descended from them. Given they also don't display frequent mutations from the norm, it's safe to say that the Imperium might treat them like stable, sanctioned abhumans.

@@TheGreatThicc the chiss did evolve from humans (at least in legends it was confirmed idk about in disney cannon) theyre an offshoot of humanity that evolved blue skin and eyes that could see in Infared due to living underground for extended periods of time. and id say that given the salamanders, red eyes and blue skin should be well within the range of accaptable mutation to still be considered mostly human.

The chiss would probably be seen as abhumans in the imperium, a little weary of them sure but they’d still be allowed under the Imperium and I feel they could get a long with a few guard regiments and maybe some chapters. Except the red scorpions they’re competitive racists.

Genestealer hybrids aren't blue, they're pinkish, also usually bald, with forehead ridges and things like an extra arm or tyranid bits in random places. A chiss honestly makes more sense as an abhuman than a xenos, they're morphologically identical to humans other than the blue skin, red eyes, and slightly more pronounced facial angles.

@Crabriri actually starship troopers have a better performance than the helldivers such as creating the power armor suit that has the semblance of the 40k space marine, built bases quicker, have better gear such as environmental scans, drones that heal and revive fallen allies, jump packs and jet packs, set up traps both explosive and electric, stims that heal and provide a speed boost, first made plasma guns and others and hold the title of 'First space marines' they appeared in the book on Nov 5 1959, that's way before everything else showed up

Look trooper... I'll be real with you for a sec. The Space Marine, the big guy next to you? Every day, if HE rests? At least 6 systems are lost to the voracious, dark and sometimes incredibly obscure and equally horrifying enemies of Man. Some of those threats are SO horrendous due to the messed up nature of the Milky-Way Galaxy which he hails from, that its a terrible idea to NOT EVEN BE FIGHTING FOR THEIR EXTINCTION. You? Well... As I'm a Star Wars ex-Legends junkie... the only things in your galaxy that are worthy of a threat in HIS are the Mnggnal-Mnggnal and Abeloth. YOU GUYS WOULD... have been badasses if Kyke Katarn hadnt blown up the Arc Hammer and y'all got those badass Phase III Dark Trooper walking tank suits that General Rom Mohc was gonna gift you. The democracy guy? Hell-Divers is just Starship Troopers with sentient battledroid knockoffs and arachnid bug things. Sure, he's a killin' machine alright, but he's probably at least Mordian Guard material in 40k with some Elysian Guard tech thrown in with a mobile orbital drop device. But all-in-all? Cannon fodder with training and discipline. YOU? You've got it made.

You are exaggerating about the Space Marine, they often spend months in transit anyway so they have to do something with all that time. Hence why they have hobbies, or else they would genuinely get bored waiting between every fight. Additionally, Star Wars might not have it quite as hard as Warhammer does, but I would argue that the threats of the Star Wars Galaxy would be a considerable problem for the Warhammer one outside of Abeloth and the Mnggnal-Mnggnal. Need I remind you that the CIS supposedly manufactured possibly upwards of quadrillions of Droids for its war effort? Battle Droids might be worthless, but if the CIS was 10% less controlled opposition then they would have steamrolled the Republic. Also Stormtroopers and Clone Troopers are actually pretty badass, given that in modern canon its said somewhere that they hit a good 77% of the time which is more shots than the average American Marine hits. If put into 40k, they would be top of the line soldiers for that reason alone, though they would still need better weapons to take out some of the more deadly Warhammer monsters.

​@@justmyluck624 I suggest you study A Fan With Too Much Time's 40k Star Wars crossover. It puts a lot of these versus points to the test. Marines don't have hobbies. All they do is train everyday harder and HARDER. They only need four hours of sleep. When Marines aren't fighting all they do is study the dogma and scripture of their chapter if they are not in the practice cages training. Stormtroopers are trained in garrison tactics and that's it. They are terrible. Even their plastoid armor is god awful. Clone Troopers? At least they have training and good genetics. They'd be right up there with Mordian Iron Guard. I used to love Star Wars. until 2007, I had a strong feeling what was going to happen so I jumped ship to 40k. Haven't looked back. And lo and behold Disney, of all the companies acquires them then throws out 35 years of lore to put their Mary Sue Rey character in. My favorite era was the Vong and Legacy. I used to know every little detail. I've long since given up on SW.

@ While AFAN has a decent, though too long-winded in my opinion, series, he tends to overhype Warhammer and slightly underplay Star Wars. I extensively researched the strength of SW weapons, ships, armor and soldier training for a video comparing it directly to Warhammer (that I ended up scrapping) and my conclusions were that the Galactic Republic could do quite well against the Imperium of Man if things were drawn out into a complicated war scenario. It wouldn't be easy for anyone, but the Republic would at least be able to stalemate the Imperium long enough to drum enough bigger and scarier ships of their own, at which point this becomes T'au vs Imperium but the T'au have the production capacity and innovation/invention speed to dramatically overwhelm the Imperium. To prove this, look at the Death Star vs the Death Star II. It took 20 years for the first one to get built but once they had it built, the Empire (which shares much of its industrial capacity with the Republic) was able to build a second (and superior) superweapon after only three years (while fighting a Rebellion and reeling from the economic impact of the original DS's destruction). POINT IS, Star Wars stands a good shot at beating Warhammer. Moving on from nerd debates, you are factually incorrect about Space Marine hobbies. The Salamanders famously have time off to go visit their families, the Blood Angels really *do* like to engage in art and poetry and the Space Wolves are known for drinking and hunting in their free time. They do have free time, we just barely see it. Circling back around to nerd debates, you're also wrong about... well a lot of things about New Canon in my controversial opinion, but sticking to the armor stuff- that's not true. Stormtrooper armor is really good at stopping bullets and lasers, as well as mitigating the damage done by Plasma bolts. Afan's series even covers this to an extent so I don't know how you got that Storm/Clone Trooper armor is terrible. As for weapons, Blasters are arguably better than Lasguns on average, though debatably slower depending on if you believe lightspeed feats are real for Blaser bolts.
