I decided to start uploading weekly and then end up disappearing for another month. I'll get this eventually, I promise. You guys had been wanting a Salamander video for while so here you go. You're wish has been granted! It was a fun video to make and I'm so humbled that you guys have continued to enjoy my work. Technically no. Maybe. A couple of those clone rifles, with high rpm and some ionized shots, would make quick work of them.. on an open field. High RPM, ionic shots disable electronic equipment quite well, and blaster shots generally penetrate quite well. Bolter shots are very inaccurate on long range too. There would be losses, sure wouldn't be there. But a Space Marines takes around 10-20 years to make, and they are not cloned. Unless they are the revenant legion, there is an okay chance.

Hyperdrives bring the ship into hyperspace, it's not ftl travel its traveling through the flows in hyperspace. Without navigation maps for hyperspace, or the force or a power similar they wouldn't be able to travel safely with a hyperdrive. It would take many tens of thousands of suicidal "scouting" missions to find safe routes through just small sectors of the galaxy or galaxies.
