Mithra was a virgin-born Persian god. In 307 C.E. I agree with Jordan's forest fire metaphor. As an Aussie, bushfires are a common thing in the area I'm from. To combat and minimize the damage of bushfires you must maintain firebreaks & annual backburning. Your life should be treated the same way, you must back burn (purposely controlled burn-off) old ways & ideas, old goals or people regularly and maintain firebreaks (of your ambitions, goals, dreams) from others in your life or risk having who you are as person being completely destroyed.

Great stuff. In Hebrew the word “to pray” is lahitpalel” which means to examine oneself, a reflexive verb. To judge in order to improve. The image of God in the Hebrew Bible is a judging God who wants each of us to reach our potential by letting go of our garbage, the image of Christ as a loving god in the New Testament it is only through him that we can be saved. Peaking perpetually..to be a little better today than I was yesterday. To compete with & compare to yesterday's self only. Compare to no one else, compete with no one else & for no one else. Speed of progress irrelevant..consistency, progression is all that matters. Live as though everyone & no one is watching.. better life? Be better. Put into the world that of which you wish to get out. Happier life? become helpful/useful. Serve others to serve self. Be good or good at it & To do good, feels good. To do what's right,, seldom or at least often is far from easy.. but if it was everyone would do it. Be the hero of your story, instead of merely the main character.. but also be aware, in someone elses storey we're the villain. Cant make everyone happy so start with self. Cant be kind to everyone so start with self. Cause no harm but take no shit.. fukkup? Thanks for honoring free speech. Jordan believes that he is in tight with Jesus of the Christian bible ... so if he is certain that he is "walking with Jesus" ... he should NEVER feel alone. Of course, others long before Jordan ... felt the same about their "saviors." Take one myth and compare it to another myth … and they will still both be myths.
