The workplace is not set up for everyone in mind. Lin Yue shares her experiences navigating the cultural divide of East versus West in the office, discusses unfair expectations of women in the workplace, and outlines how intersections of these various identities have affected her life. Lin is a senior executive working in a major investment bank in London. Over the last 10 years she has lead business growth and relationships with some of the largest institutional investors in the UK.
Lin speaks frequently on the intersection of business, diversity and behavioural science. She has won multiple awards for her work including HERoes 100 Women Future Leaders by Yahoo Finance for four consecutive years, a finalist for Asian Women of Achievement and Women in Finance Award as an advocate in 2021.
She is one of 50 Most Inspirational Women in the City of London by Brummell, a top Ethnic Minority Future Leader by EMpower, and the winner of the “Excellence in Banking” award at the Chinese Business Leaders Awards.
