Tabs & Notation are nice and helpful when appropriate, but nothing is better than your calm, clear and practical instruction with a nice view of that beautiful fretboard. Thank you!

Thanks! How would you explain s shuffle style rhythm in the context of swing?

The basic shuffle rhythm includes a triplet feel rather than a smoother swing feel. As an accompanist, it would be like the 4 beat except with a muted upbeat on the 3rd triplet of each beat. In a big band, the mutes are on the downbeat and the chords are played on the 3rd triplet of each beat.
