I bought a truckload of Trinny products during the start of covid and I haven’t looked back. I don’t get opacity, but for day to day its awesome. And NO ONE has as many cream blush colors. Best of all, their color finder helps you select the exact right color for your complexion. Can’t recommend Trinny’s products enough!!

Thank you so so much for this video. I really struggle with make-up because I don't want to wear very much and just want to enhance my natural features, but as soon as I start putting it on I have the exact problem you've been explaining in that I feel like I need to put more on as the rest of my face isn't balancing correctly and my dark circles etc become more highlighted. I've never understood it properly before or how to deal with it and ultimately gave up on wearing make-up. Watching this video has been a huge eye opener and I feel hopeful again that I can learn to use make-up but still feel natural. I'm really grateful, and excited to try wearing make-up again. 😊

I really want Phytosurgence to do a Lithium in their line. UD irritates my eyes but Phyto is perfect. Their Fractal Freesia is very Space cowboy - esque but no irritation. This look is pretty much what I do all the time unless I’m on stage. A little more than no makeup, just enough that mascara doesn’t look out of place.

I have been trying to accomplish this with my makeup recently. I love all the color theory knowledge you share with us. I like to still look my myself but kind of take advantage of what stands out on my face. I have really learned so much from you. My eyes are very round and kind big and my cheeks too but my brows are thinner then I'd like so I play up my lashes and my cheeks and they become the focus of my face. This look you did today was absolutely beautiful...so pretty. I love this kind of content. Your a great teacher, and you have so much knowledge to share, thanks for this one.

I've been thinking about buying a few Trinny London products, mostly because the stacking containers seem like they would tame some of the chaos of a dozen kinds of cream makeup rattling around in my handbag. And maybe I long for a the feeling of effortlessness, despite a firm belief that it is almost always an illusion. So it was very interesting to hear your thought process around building an effortless look, and see these products applied with that Kackie touch. Other content hasn't given me the same vivid sense of how these products might actually work for me or not. You confirmed for me that I need to actually see and feel the packaging before I decide.

I received my first order of basically all the things from Trinny London a couple of weeks ago and am excited to hear your thoughts and techniques. So far I like most of the bits I got, but they're not fully convincing me away from some tried and trues and it's a bit of a change of pace from my usual look. I have suspicion that in summer they'll come into their own a bit more, but I really need to get a handle on how I'm using them. Sometimes I'm a more is more and they are not made for that., and I would like to get the best out of the products.

you comparing the makeup re: soft-focus vs. detail to painting made a lot of sense to me. my art is usually highly detailed- i've practiced other styles to learn to bring more subtlety to my own, and more and more i find myself working on blending the fine points of detail with softer areas even when i'm still doing a lot of linework in the piece. i think i'm starting to look at makeup similarly. the skin is soft-focus but the eyeliner is a sharp wing! stuff like that. mostly because my look is less natural overall than yours generally speaking (though i'm totally over full coverage or "perfected" anything, these days). but it's interesting that in exploring "effortless" makeup in the art-oriented way you do, i saw the connection between my own artistic proclivities and goals and those of my makeup looks even though our respective styles are really different. i really appreciate finding a makeup content creator who's also an artist! also there is definitely such a thing as heightened color sensitivity! i think it's called being a tetrachromat, because you have a fourth cone cell in your retinas instead of the usual 3. pretty sure i have the same since i always see what you mean when you're talking about color differences that are subtle but occasionally really maddening.

I like to do this type of make-up. "Natural/editorial". I found out, I don't like to do all parts of my face (except for a ball or so) - it doesn't look natural. Sometimes I do just my cheecks and little bit of concealer and a balm like You in the begining and I completly leave out my brows and eyes. To me it looks way better than full face of make-up although gentle and in neutral colors.

This is almost exactly how I always do my makeup. I start with brows & make them shellaced to my forehead but in a way that somehow looks natural & fluffy/bushy? Then I do my eyes, then my blush, which I use blush as bronzer too. IF I contour/bronze, I use a very grey based color because I'm literally the color of wall plaster & anything bronzey (short of a neutral blush) looks wildly ridiculous. Then I add slight coverage to the under eye & sometimes the lower part of my face & nose. 🫶
