Greek Pasta with Kalamata Olive and Feta Cheese:
Ingredients:
1 lb Penne Pasta
Olive oil
1 small onion peeled and diced
4 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
1 Jar of Kalamata olives, pitted
1 Tbsp Dried Oregano
Salt and Pepper to taste
Fresh Basil
1/2 cup (or more) of Pasta Water
1 cup Feta Cheese ( more for serving if you like).
Saute onion in olive olive oil on medium heat for about 8 minutes or until golden brown. Season as you go with salt and pepper. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add your olives and your dried oregano and saute again for about a minute or two. Pour olive mixture in separate bowl. Place cooked pasta in pan that had the olive mixture in. Add pasta water. Take off heat and add fresh basil and feta cheese. Serve with vegetables, salad and bread:) Bon Apetite!

Those crystal string lights are so pretty! They’d be perfect with some moss in a glass vase! I’d love to know where your white pans are from! My mom and I are looking for pots and pans like yours for next fall. We don’t plan to use the stove this summer as we want to buy an air fryer. Bekah, I’m so glad you are feeling better and have loved ones around you that cherish you and are helping support you. This dish looks amazing, I love Greek food and reminds of the classic Greek salad but in pasta form! Yummy!! We had a busy homeschool week and I’m feeling a little run down but I’m going to get in the school room today and organize a little and get rejuvenated. Sometimes when I decorate the school room or add in a new school unit it gets me excited and keeps me motivated. We aren’t going to take the summer off but we narrow down our studies to just reading and math. And I like to add a fun unit. Last summer we learned about sharks and this summer we will focus on sea turtles. Always wishing you were my country neighbor so we could help support each other in our homeschool efforts ❤ Have a blessed weekend.

I’m happy to hear you’re doing better sweet Friend. I relate well as I have degenerative arthritis in my back and have been healing a herniated disc since last Fall. Doing much better now. It’s hard to slow down and do what we need to in order to fully heal. Love your cozy kitchen as always. And seeing the green and blooming out your window brings hope! Ooo Bekah... This was a Greek video.. Thank you very much.. Kalamata olives, feta cheese, oregano, bukovo and this flower that you see everywhere here, this season..!!! And Greek tea..?? We call it. Mountain Tea..!!! The Chinese used to say. The best tea, that comes from the highest mountains... Did they mean the Greek mountains..?? Maybe..!! In any case it is considered the best tea. It has almost no caffeine. It is very good for colds, stomach pain, indigestion, etc...etc I would need whole pages to write its beneficial properties.. Try it, with honey (maybe Greek), and 2 drops of lemon.... Perfect.. Oooooh.. And something else.. I live very close to Kalamata, where they produce the well-known oil and olives that you used.. I also have to tell you once again, that the video in general, and from an artistic point of view, was wonderful.. The direction was... of a high standard. I will post this video on my Facebook page.. It's the least I can do, since you often mention Greece and its products in your videos. Once again, thank you. Your videos are the most beautiful and relaxing thing on KZbin right now, at least from my point of view. Kisses 😘😘
