Can people stop saying mean things about a woman who shares a good message? I found this video helpful because, in order to self-promote, you first need this confidence. This is the foundation for effective self-promotion.

So what you are saying is, that you wanted to be taught what self promotion meant? The message is clearly motivational; don't really understand what the reason is to be negative on a TedTalks motivational video.
@oscargonzalez4100

The video was not a scam. The inspirational messages are about self-promotion. Self Promotion starts with believing in who you are. How can you market yourself if you have no confidence in yourself or what you do? I think you should look into other videos other than TedxTalks, because they are mostly all inspirational and not informative.

This video is truly inspiring. I will wake up every day and tell myself "I have the heart of a lion." Lizzy brought up fresh and innovative topics on how to market yourself. Even though I do consider this TedTalks to be more inspirational than informative.

It's all about being authentic and genuine. Talk about your work and accomplishments in a way that is humble and informative. Share your passion and why you do what you do. And most importantly, be yourself. People can spot a fake from a mile away, so be honest and transparent in your self-promotion.

Voided message, if I love myself in the wrong then that is a problem there are some things that you must accept but always try to improve, confort early in you life is an enemy, yo must achieve change and adapt, the world won't give a dam about your own approval, the world is not a part of you you are a part of the world so you decide if you are a broken part or not

Love yourself, no matter what the world tells you. The story of calling her father for help with a very basic concept of turning the darn computer on. Look at yourself in the mirror and put your hand on your heart. Would somebody tell me why I wasted 10 minutes on something which was a stage “acting” but had no substance? Where is the inspiration here? And why does this deserve to be a TEDTalk?

Julie Warkentin Instead of self-promotion, she should have been learning how to do things like turn on a computer and insert a floppy disc. Seriously, that was embarrassing. How did she get to college without knowing this? I was sheltered and in high school in the ‘80s, but I got a job for a lawyer at 19 years old and did it ALL myself. Common sense goes further than self-promotion. This was useless to me.
