I really enjoy how this podcast allows Tony to just be a regular guy and Jason gets to be earnest and kind in ways I've never seen nor heard all while they're being hilarious talking about their lives today and setting the record straight about their careers and history in skating. I love the way entertainment has evolved for the fans. It allows for us normies to see these guys in their normal lives. I think in the past when you had to buy or rent a video or dvd or catch an interview on this network or that, everything seemed so rehearsed. I grew up seeing these two like untouchable rock stars so to see them here just chatting is so freaking fascinating for me. Well done fella's. So happy to be part of this, I hope it lasts forever.

Hearing Tony talk about feeling weird for people reaching out he doesn't know, makes me so grateful my aunt got him to sign a couple posters for me. One of her relatives was his neighbor and she told him I skated and he got a couple posters and wrote a custom lil message and signed them. Always skated street but i have so much respect for that man!

The hardest slam i took was this year 2023. Attempted the biggest hill in the rural town im in and got 3 argo kicks in and the board shot out from under me. I heard the same sound as a tooth being pulled and instantly was overwhelmed with deja vu even though i never slammed like that before lol its been said before but anyone can look at jason and assume its not wise to fuck with that guy. It takes listening to tony a bit to realize he is that warrior inside too. I love the supposedly unlikely duo. This is one of my favorites podcasts on the go! Thanks for the episode, you guys are awesome!!!!!

Context I am a white water rafting guide. Their convo about the loop is super relateable. Some of the scariest rapids are the easy ones. Just hit it straight, and hit it with speed. You will get over the wave, everything is fine. But either the water is SO strong, or the features under the wave are so scary, that if you have a flip or a spill, someone is likely to die. It is the easy shit that is the scariest.

It's possible though. I'm 37 and it's taken me almost two years to catch up to, and now surpass, my skill level where I left off at about 21. Those first few months were hell--more mental than physical--but I found a missing piece of myself and kept jamming it back in place until it stayed. I think if you have that Love of Skateboarding in you then you can always find it again however long it's been.

I sold my mdx Bought a van then somebody totaled it while I was sitting at a red light Then bought a temp caravan That could not pass emissions Then got ripped off over again 1000$ after 1000$ until I hit 4500 Then said I need catilitic converter Put the wrong one in and went out of business I just spent the last 1700 on it back on the road!!!
