Rudy Wallang, a blues musician, gives us an insight into his musical journey and his approach towards songwriting. He sees music as a vessel of love and emotion. He discusses how everyday experiences inspire his lyrics and songwriting and how his songs appeal to the different communities with similar encounters. He also talks about his band Soulmate, which gained nationwide popularity after becoming the only band to represent India at the 23rd International Blues Challenge.

He has been felicitated with the title of the best guitar player in India at the 2009 Jack Daniels music awards.

I never even knew of you until on the night of the 20th April, when I heard you play down town Shillong n was totally absorbed by your presence.
