Watching newer players would always been a nice thing every so often, because sometimes in the new players eyes could be the biggest flank of their life while to us it would be a pretty normal battle tactic, and the mistakes they make is also quite humorous at times.

With new Players these battles tend to be more chaotic. But this makes them imo more realistic. No Napoleon Age Commander would have had the total overview of the battlefield. They would miss opportunities or not see cav flanking around, orders would go missing of come too Late. I think this was very enjoyable and a cool and in a way really realistic battle

When you're watching an NTW video : Damn, that player missed an opportunity. Crap, he forgot to form squares. What a mess. When you're playing NTW : Shoot I lost my artillery! One thing i thought of now is you don't often see a line inf charge. I like too move my lane up in between the shots and then have one cav charge them so either they move and get shoot in the back cav charge and you get one powerfull charge. The moral shock and loss of men is often pretty hard if you time it right. The Swedish perfected it and they where a hugh superpower during Napoleons time. Check it out its pretty awesome. "Infantry Gå-På" its called. "Never have I seen such a combination of uncontrollable dash and perfectly controlled discipline, such soldiers and such subjects are not to be found the wide world over except in Sweden" General Stenbock, Gadebusch 1712[13]

You can look at all the min reqs online or at steam. Don't worry about new games there are tons of old good strat games like some LOTR ones or Star Wars Empire at War best of all: they are cheap and have some great mods

Interesting fact about Portugal in-game. They have the seconds (or third) best line infantry when it comes to shooting stats, second only to british (or if you count overall stats, 3rd after british and ottomans). They have THE BEST light infantry out of ANY faction in the game, second to none. Their skirmishers are 3rd best after brits and prussians. Their cav is mediocre and arty is nothing special and they lack howitzers. Overall, Portugal is often called mini Great Britain because it's very similar to them but worse in pretty much everything. Small tip: When playing minors or nations without elite infantry like austria, it is good idea to bring at least 3-star general.

I saw some flaws they was doing but all in all they did pretty good for new players. So I'm not upset about it or as they children of bow days say *"triggered"* That moment the French player had their troops practically in front of the Russian players cannons I kept on repeating *!Canister Canister Canister!* Than that last canister shot the French did was a epic one. Reminded me of a few scenes from various different movies where a defences last ditch effort before the enemy get directly in their faces was a few good canister shots to soften up the enemies front lines. *by the way be safe on your move Apollo. If you need help don't ask me lol. My dad and I pretty much by ourselves helped my sister move her family of 7 from her old house to her new house while my brother in law was on the road working.*

Might just be me, but whenever I take Swiss Foot or Grenadiers (playing Darthmod) they're always next to worthless. They look great on paper - they've got better stats than native French troops, but they're critically short on morale. The Foot regiments are just subpar, but the Grenadiers are just unacceptable - there's absolutely no point being semi-elite/shock infantry when more than 30 seconds of combat makes you sh!t your daks. That said, it makes perfect sense - I would absolutely expect mercenary troops to be both pretty good at their jobs and none too keen on getting killed for their client. Also probably worth admitting that I tend to deliberately put Swiss regiments in the most dangerous positions on the battlefield - mercenaries are expensive but they offer an amazing Black Friday deal: if you get them killed to a man leading the first storming party into a heavily defended fort, you get 100% off their original asking price.

The Austrians and French Lack communication. You can see little cordination to focus artillery. In the beginning you could focus on Russian Artillery and then move on to collapsing the their right nd moving into a 2 on1 fight against the Portuguese. Well too late now Coming back to edit this later in the battle. The Russians failed. They made the Portuguese lose. Why you may ask. He should've followed his teammate and attacked the french. The Austrians would be on their own and they wouldn't have lost to Portugal. This makes it so the Russians and French engage locking the french since lots of micro is needed to do 2 fronts, and then allowing Portugal to beat the Austrians and get into a 2 on 1 against the french stretching their lines to paper thin allowing a mass assault on one part piercing their line and winning. This is allowed by the French player defensiveness, and Austrians player inability.
