The Artisan Yogini | Ashtanga Yoga Journey | Shot on iPhone

(subtitles included) Inspired by the work of Alessandro Sigismondi I decided to create a yoga video to tell the story of my dear friend Steph, who has a beautiful ashtanga yoga practice, but instead of using a professional camera I shot and edited the entire video on my iPhone. You'll see amazing shots of her ashtanga yoga primary and intermediate series.
We shot the entire video in August, during the quarantine time in Mysore, India, the birthplace of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. So yes, it took me a long time to edit, but better later than never, right? ;-)

This is such an amazing video Steph! I practiced next to you for so many months at the beginning of the year, assisted in Shala and never knew your story! Thank you Marco for doing this video to tell Steph´s story, I got all emotional just to see that typical apartment somewhere in Gokulam, watching her practicing and chanting, my mind drifted to Vijay and energy in Shala... I left Mysore in May and just like everybody around the globe, practicing on my own and just like she is saying ´I remember the energy and my teacher, and that´s all I need´, sending lots of Love to you guys and I´ll be looking forward to practice next to you again
